Bro how is this sad its just the tempo is sad lol you are not playing in the right speed like in the music sheet, you are slowing down and speeding up too dramatically so it sounds sad but it really isnt, if u play normally like written then its actually very dramatic instead of sad

This version is very elegant and pleasant, but the version I can't get over is Rousseau's interpretation of it. I've played so many La Campanella variations and I always end up back at Rousseau's. Love this one too though. Thanks for sharing.

Im from the street of NY and Im not a classy kinda guy but dam. The kid playing the piano... U just got a shout out in my Hood. Speakers facing the window and cats in the streets just stopped to listen. Some old heads commented they never heard angels speak before. Thought u might like that.

It sounds like a person tied to the train tracks, and they need to be rescued! In the middle, the person dreams about being saved, but the dream faded, and the train was coming closer, and then they died.

5:57 I absolutely love how your hand seems to slowly open from closed to open. Like a dead hand slowly regains life, matching the feeling of this section. 🎉

I saw this piece in my old classic piano book when I was 15 years old. At the time, there was no KZbin and I did not find any album playing this piece. I could not make it out myself. But, I has been intrigued by its arrangement. Now, I am 67 years old and accidentally ran into this piece when opened my old classic piano book. Listening Traum's interpretation and playing it for a couple of days, it is so beautiful and mystical. I saw a comment suggesting this piece being boring. I guess one has to really play it with all ears for all delicate arrangements. The conflict and harmony between two or three voices are so fun to express with one's own fingers.

Good tempo for the last bit! Almost everyone else I’ve seen play it rush through the last bit like their life depends on it. Good performance
