My high school team ran the wing t offense. I played offensive line. It's a boring offense. Especially with today's kids.

If they are playing off F that much, why not turn that into a quick hitch? Shorter pass for sure.

Play action. They weren’t run blocking. They were just showing keys that the defense had to respond to. This of it like a defensive live mush rushing to free up outside pressure. It’s just the reverse of that.

YES on Double Wing T. I coached the Freshman Sophomore teams for the Great Don M. at Bloomington high school. I attended the clinics where he would educate coaches to run it, and against him. I thought this is crazy he likes them to run it against him. He always seen that they would change the system and run combinations off it. Yet, he would run up the score because he only had 26 team member and no reserves.

Coach I am trying simplify my play calling, because there is a lot of information for the play but each is pertinent for the line, RB, & WR/TE. Any thoughts, because it seems to be a mouthful to call and remember?

You missed the greatest clock eating ground pounding offense I have ever run. And I have run them all. The Single Wing impressed the hell out of me. With nothing athletes we averaged 350 yards rushing a game and it made a perennial loser into a playoff team. That coupled with the 10-1 Special defense transformed this program.

My Alma mater, Harding University, won the D2 national championship last year. We broke the rushing record (including D1) with over 6,000 yards in a season. I’d like to see you break down their season last year. Or perhaps just the championship game vs. College of the Mines.
