Will it work? You have a 300hp tractor, you could probably moll a bowling ball through the ground with that thing..:)

We had an old Ford tractor quite a bit smaller than that first tractor with a loader bucket on the front and no cab. I don’t remember the model number but as big as I’ve seen with no cab or 4x4. (I also worked for a chicken farmer as a teen that had a mid-late 70’s model Ford that was a yellowish/orange colour from the factory. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen that colour). Now the unbelievable part … the barn it stayed parked in was up on a kinda built up chert pad and then had a concrete pad on top of that …so it was up hill pulling in it. The old gal had seen better days and cross my heart rolled out of the barn caught fire and burned to the ground. (Could have been a meth enthusiast passing by the farm but I don’t think so it’s quite rural). My late grandfather didn’t even contact the insurance company. Farm insurance companies as all insurance companies are terribly hard to deal with and they wouldn’t have believed the old Ford just rolled out like that before burning.

Ya I’m 39 years old and still haven’t been “allowed” to run the baler lol. I’ve cut, fluffed, and raked but dad, uncle and my late grandpa have always ran the baler. We don’t bale a lot of round bales or hay off our property in general. Cattle graze most of the land. My least favorite job of all is loading small square bales out of the fields. We used to own a Livestock auction aka Stockyard or Salebarn. We both bought and cut some our own fields for square bales for most of my life until selling the Stockyard. It takes thousands of square bales a year at the stockyard keeping pre sale cattle on hay (we would only do this at the request of the seller or if they delivered the cattle days prior to the auction. It’s better to sale them when not looking full up on hay or feed) and feeding the sold animals fed until picked up sometimes 2-3 days after the auction. We averaged around 1000-1200 head sold a week. More or less maybe as low as 750 head average depending on how the market and weather changes. That leaves at least a few hundred head of feeder cattle and 50-75 slaughter cows/bulls waiting for 18 wheelers to come pick them up so you go thru a ton of hay. Anyway we rebuilt most of holding pens so you could just unroll one round bale and fill two pins hay racks like that instead of having to use a bunch of square bales about a year prior to selling the place but that’s my luck I guess 🤬. Sorry this got long and I’m not sure why I even decided to post about it lol.

I wish we had bacon rolls here in the US and could try and make them myself but the bacon is so different it wouldn’t be even close. I’ve been to Moultrie, Georgia where they have a huge Ag equipment show. The Ag class in school would take the senior year students there on a field trip every year and then I went again a couple years after I got out of school looking at equipment for my family business. It’s kinda exhausting if you’re trying to see it all. This is my first time watching anything from this channel and I’ve enjoyed seeing the different equipment used over the pond compared with what I see and have used here. I saw your channel listed on Rocket Powered Mohawks channel and thought I’d take a look see. I’ll sub and check out your other videos. Cheers This comment might already be on here idk cause KZbin flipped out when posting.

We have had many case tractors over the years, we have found that they became less reliable since the legendary mx, we replaced them quite often just to get the right tractor with no trouble, but we got a luxxum 120 in 2020, and i have much more faith in case tractors now, we are very impressed at how sturdy and reliable the luxxum has been, it has around 6000 hours now with regular maintenance, new tyres got last week. Very nice, comfy and reliable tractor. Good job to case IH for making a better tractor now!

We’ve been using a Dynadrive (the same one!) for the last 30 years. We’ve gone from ploughing and sowing with a power harrow combination drill to non-inversion minimal till, minimal disturbance drilling. The only machine on the farm that’s been used throughout and is still used is the old Dynadrive. It was originally pulled behind a Case 7220 Magnum. Now it’s a John Deere 8300T or a 6210r.
