I hope Ron Moore returns for Season 8, but I don't think he will.

---- Oligarchs, Moneybags, the Governments of the United States, Great Britain, France, Poland are those countries that have nurtured, Nurtured, Educated and given a start in life to Nazism, Fascism, Hitler. It was under their leadership and indulgence that the furnaces of Auschwitz, Buchenwald and other death camps burned, it was they who killed Jews, Gypsies, Serbs, Poles, Russians and other representatives of peoples with the hands of the Germans. Today the same thing is happening, but now three brothers of a Russian, a Ukrainian, a Belarusian who have the same root and the same parents have been set off. Having made them enemies, they hope that they will destroy each other themselves, and they will enjoy sitting on the balcony and drinking whiskey, saying - all right. Now analogies, everything repeats : --- V. Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, is a mini Hitler / both of the same nationality /! --- The Armed Forces of Ukraine are an analogue of the Wehrmacht / Germany Third Reich /! --- The Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Police of Ukraine, Azov, Donbass, Tornado, Dnipro, Right Sector, Si 14, etc. Nazi formations are analogs of the SS, SD punishers / Germany, the Third Reich /! ---Territorial defense, sexpots and informers are Bandera, these are Policemen, these are Traitors, these are Collaborators who are ready to destroy their People, their Homeland for a handout from the table of the masters! Bloggers and journalists of Ukraine, deceiving and misleading the people, are the descendants of I. Goebels, / the main propagandist of the Third Reich /. ------Now The Question Is: - "WHERE IS HITLER? WHERE IS GOEBBELS? WHERE IS THE WEHRMACHT? WHERE ARE the SS and SD? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BANDERITES? WITH THE COPS? WITH COLLABORATORS? I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU, OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS UKRAINIANS, THAT YOU, LIKE INDIANS, FELL FOR BEADS AND BAUBLES AND BETRAYED YOUR BROTHERS! And I'll tell YOU, YOUR enemies are not Russians and not Putin, not Belarusians and not Lukashenka, your ROGUES are Westerners, when the EAST and CENTER of UKRAINE bleeds, then the Westerners -Levoyans have raised housing prices 10-20 times.

there is many a funny story about the Islay toll bridge...appearantly farmers didn't have to pay the toll when they were transporting livestock across, so people took to loading a sheep into the back of their cars before crossing...

I can hardly believe that so much of this history is no longer taught in Scottish schools. I am part Scottish but all American and this wasn't taught to us either, so it is a real joy to have the opportunity to learn a lot about this time period in such a remarkable work. When I was doing my genealogy, I found I had a mutation that specifically started with Robert the Bruce - mind you, my family background isn't high-born so it was the wrong side of the blanket - but still.

My gggg grandfather was born in a castle in Scotland. I think it was Graten or something similar, he was arrested and tried in England as a Jacobite rebel and sentenced to hang, later given the option to go to the "New World" He did, landed in Williamsburg, VA H lived in what was once the Christmas apple house adjacent to the Capitol. Anyway, I love watching videos because I'll never get to go.

My heritage comes from Scotland, I’m proud to say !! My dream is to visit someday. My great, great great and further back grandfather was William Trent who came from Inverness to America I believe it was in the mid 1600’s. He was a judge, in the parliament, had a city named after him which is now Trenton, New Jersey. It was originally Trents Town. He achieved so much more. There’s a book in the library about him and the city. What makes me the most proud is being from Scotland, even though I’ve never been there. Such beauty and you know for certain that the people as a whole are genuine and kind, something which is getting hard to find here in the states.

I can echo all that you say about being a descendant from Scotland. I feel proud. But I can't quite figure where the links are directly like you have. I was adopted and it is the DNA research that has pointed me there. I am just tickled that there was a blind fiddler way long ago...because I was a professional violinist!

As an English women from the Shaw Clan I feel a bit insulted that an English Man is telling the hard working Scottish dancers and performers what to do so he keeps making Millions while the Scottish performers properly make just enough to get get by.

The scenes being filmed in these bits from Outlander was Angus, Willie, Murtagh, Claire and Rupert's rescue of Jamie from Wentworth Prison and BlackJack's clutches. I'm wondering if Sam was naked under that tartan? Okay mind, quit it.

Since the story is narrated from Claires perspective & she didnt understand the language, they wanted the viewers to feel the same way & not understand what was being said. I wish they'd subtitle those parts at least in the Scottish Gaelic so we could google it.

I've now been to Scotland 4 times, I've included it every time I've traveled overseas. Seeing the roads I've driven along several times just gives you an 'awe' moment. I've done two driving holidays now in a campervan and both times have stopped overnight in the carpark at Kyleakin. Last trip I had a travel bud and when we heard live music coming from the Haakon Bar we decided to go investigate. We told ourselves we'd have one pint then back to the van to cook dinner, 4 pints each later and closing hour, chuckle, we finally staggered back to van and proceeded to cook some chicken and stir fry veggies because you can't get a kebab in Kyleakin, chuckle. It's an Aussie thing after a booze up. Great vid and I'm an Outlander fan.
