Hey, I really enjoyed watching your video! Your city looks amazing. I noticed you’re playing on a great setup, but I was curious about the specifications of your PC. I’m using a PC with an Intel Core i5 12400F, 16GB RAM, and an RTX 4060, and I’ve been wondering if you face any performance issues when managing such a large city with 500 villagers. I’ve had some minor lag at times, especially when a lot is happening on-screen. Do you encounter any similar challenges with your system?

they could add more combat in a few ways. the easy one being bandit raids and the other being our character being called to service by the lord of the lands we live on to fight in a small scale battle between another rival lord or enemy country raiding party. lose the battle or raid event and you could find villages around the map ransacked and in need of help to rebuild. hell you might even find your own home ransacked or burned. would definitely give you the bitter side of life back then.

When I lay out my blocks, I often like to lay out the houses so that they are back-to-back in the inner corner (rather than one of the outer corner). That way, each block of 4 houses has 2 walls facing a wall from a neighbors house. There is no practical game mechanic for this, but in irl, this would mean that each house has 2 walls that will have minimal heat loss during winter due to not being exposed to the air and wind. Another thing would be to plant tree lines along exposed sides, to provide a wind break during the winter, and shade during the summer. Again, there is no game mechanical reason to do this, but I think it makes them look more realistic as heat loss during winter would be a major concern.

"I have party of 25 companions and sometimes feel that is not enough". - Dude :) Sadly even in region locked enemy group size scales up with your party size. Not much in Tiltren but You can see that in other higher level regions. I think That's biggest defect of this game. I Didn't finish pirate DLC because fights bored me. They are too long. I win every fight very easy, it just takes time and it's not rewarding enough. Game should reward You for managing bigger group (you pay more, need more food, more equipment etc), instead You are getting punished with extremely grindy and long battles. I might come back to this game and do the dlc, but I am afraid I'll get bored too fast. For now I didn't get it yet

It just happened to me In the middle of Pirates DLC because I maxed out my gear and levels so there was nothing more to do besides just beating story. I am sure You can finish all game with 4-6 man squad and it's actually more fun because fights ale shorter. But I spend so much time on making gear and leveling up my men, buying all the skillbooks I don't want to disband my men. I like What You say about skelmar. @axefield there is a two handed one that hits 3x if it hits more than one enemy. Can't remember the name. I'd think this would be useful for applying status or oils, but haven't messed with it much. The thing for me is that I want half my army to engage, the other half to get a bonus for attacking an engaged enemy or from behind. I use a lot of maces/axe tanks. Good stuff! Enjoy your videos! A couple of notes: This building upgrade method started with v2.0. Make sure to have "Master of Destruction" to get some of your resources back. There may be one Tavern on Oxbow (Piastovia), but there are three on The Valley (Gostovia, Hornica, and Jezerica). The Herald can appear at any of them. Pro Tip #1: ALWAYS SAVE prior to talking to anyone about a quest, particularly the King's Herald. This way, if you can't fulfill the quest in time or based on demands you haven't unlocked, you can reload the save and move on. Pro Tip #2: Bandit detection range is 40 meters. Use your Waypoint indicator on the map and place down close to a bandit camp, then move in close using the range indicator on your compass. Pro Tip #3: Once you do #2, drop to third-person and go into Photo mode to perform aerial reconnaissance of a bandit camp to see what you're up against - or what's remaining - and take cool pictures of your raid. 😁 Thanks for sharing!
