The Soundtrack to my youth. I've never stopped listening to them, except for a period when my girlfriend passed away. Music is a spiritual thing, & The Mats helped guide me through my life.❤

I can't even choose. Most songs from "Sorry, Ma." Anything with Bob's crazy guitar riffs on a good night. Live at 7th Street was epic.

The one guy complaining about the replacements success is probably a very good musician who can’t write a song or come up with an original idea. This is what we call a guitar teacher who plays in cover bands. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t be bitter about not having what Westerberg has.

Music for losers made by losers. Early 80s. Heard "Color Me Impressed" at a party. Instantly hooked. Still am.

Saw them in 1986 in Columbus OH, The Royal Crescent Mob opened. The Mats did some real toe tappers, Take Me Home Country Road and Hitchin a Ride. No talk between any of their songs.

I love that idiots still think that it's how great you can play which makes you a good band. You can be the best ever but if you can't write a song who cares. That's why the Ramones will always find new fans no matter what decade.

You spelled “spelled” wrong when you spelled it “spelt”. Spelt is an ancient grain not the past tense form of the verb “spell”.

Damn, good video overall but you left out so many interesting/important details about the band, like the fact that Tommy was only like 13 when they released their first album and the fact that during their 1991 show and their final tour Chris was no longer in the band
