We did this 2 days/1 night trip in '94. There were no check ups, no tents, luxury and stuff. You would sleep on the wooden planks of a shelter. Only some small groups of tourists including girls with a guide were there. Nobody waa crying or complaining. We experienced it only as a spicy trip. The most uncomfortable was the seemingly never ending descend.

Yeah unfortunately the littering around the site was quite serious...It was a sad sight to see, always recommend hikers to keep the rubbish and bring down the Mount yourself 😊🙏
