i have been hike in Rinjani several years ago and i really know the pain 😁 .. but for me the best reward after RInjani hike in Lombok are Take a bath Hot Spring in Segara Anak and chill, reflexy foot massage for several days in Gili Trawangan..Did you go to Gili T after hike in RInjani ? Btw your documentary are amazing. If you like hiking, Central Java is one of the best in Java. You can start from Wonosobo : Mount Sumbing, Mount SIndoro and DIeng Plateau. Or Mount Merbabu and Mount Merapi.

Yeah the hot spring definitely the most rewarding!! But too bad we didn't go to Gilli T.. Hopefully we got the chance to visit next time😁😁😁 I didn't know anything about Central Java tho.. but really appreciate your info !

Been there twice in the 90s. Back then Rinjani relatively unknown. Most of the times there were less then 20 hikers at the whole Rinjani. In my 1st expedition only 6 of us the whole 4 days journey in the mountain, we never met another person along the way. My 2nd visit there were less then 30 hikers on the trail the whole journey. Rinjani was the most beautiful volcano I ever climb. Amazing video and story telling. Thank you for sharring. If you like to filming volcano again, you may go to Semeru in East Java.
