Hello can you tell me what needles do I need? I used Groz-beckert 120-19 Nm but I want thicker needles because these break often and sometimes I have problems with the transfer of the lower thread from the bobbin (If that problem is from the needle). I think 130/21 Nm should work for me but don't know what system do I need. If you or anyone else in the comments knows please tell me it would be extremely appreciated!

I swear I was thinking the same thing. He punches holes then stitched with a machine instead of saddle stitching which lasts much longer and coulda used some nice ritza thread 1mm. And the edge is fuzzy with a big scratch running down the end. I use tokanole instead of gum trag and my edges are like glass then hit them with Edge coat. The brand of edge dressing I got you can slick it after it dries and stays like glass.

Honestly that leather had a nice look to it but was fuzzy as all get out and scratched way to easy if you notice the end of the video it has a big scratch. Want solid and extremely well made leather for a belt. Wickett and Craig or Herman oak either in 8_9 oz. You can get straps already cut from buckle guy for like 25$ or so. I'm making 3 belts right now and taking a break. My belts are 10 oz. He'll you can get on Amazon and get straps 1 1\2 inch from elw that are good leather that you dye yourself for like 20$. Hope this helps.

Looks like a great design, well done. Any reason you didn't finish the edges?

You seem to have the threading going through the side tensioner which is for darning. Top tensioner for straight stitch. But I seems to work.

I tried following it, but the thread on the back is tangled. Is it possible if the needle number is higher than the thread?

Good video. I've just refurbished a 45K and am teaching myself to sew on it. Further on the manual lock stitch - I gather you lift the needle out and move the piece one stitch back and lower the needle again then? Also I can't alter the stitch length much - does yours have much of a stitch length range (I can move the slider but it moves back to its stable position once I start sewing). The machine is having its hundred birthday this year so I guess it is not the newest one around. Leon Bren

Better place the bobine wirh the split down in stead of up with the tread in it so the tread wont get pinched betewwen the bobine and bobine holder.

Wow, talk about adapting. If there is no reverse, how do you go back and forth to lock the thread at the end? Great video and captions.
