Nice machine, I bought a Chinese patch machine that is very similar to the Singer but much cruder.

You seem to have the threading going through the side tensioner which is for darning. Top tensioner for straight stitch. But I seems to work.

Could you tell me what thread your using and the needle size. I have a lovely patcher
