I love these videos about pregnant women but can't believe the language of some of the grandparents, especially the grandmothers. Certainly not the grandparents from my era.

Hello! Have you tried any furniture on it? We have a cube unit we keep toys in and I was hoping to have this lay under that - but one review said “light furniture” - curious if you’ve experienced this? Thank you!
@courtneycapano9 күн бұрын
Great question! We have not put any furniture on it but I think light furniture is a good call! You should want the shape to stay the same and heavy furniture may compromise it a bit

Hi Courtney. I too have identical twin girls (16 months in a week) and am following your youtube - learning so much from you! So thank you for your content. Can I ask - what is your (step-by-step) evening routine with them? Bath? Reading time (e.g. in the beginning or before you leave the room / with light on so they can see the pictures or just a reading light so they only hear your voice?), at which point do you leave the room (e.g. after they've fallen asleep? Before? What if one is asleep but the other starts screaming? etc.) - I am really struggling a bit with our routine now as they're still having. hard time falling asleep (not to mention staying asleep at night, they still wake up 1-2 times a night) and would love to know how you're handling evening routines/nights with your girls...
@rachelbender131514 күн бұрын
Hi I’m a twin mom to 27 month old boy/girl twins 😊 thought I’d share their bedtime routine to also possibly help you out. 1. We brush teeth to either Blippi -Brushing Teeth Song or Raffi -Brush Your Teeth 2. We change diapers and put on pjs 3. We will read 1-2 books in their room with the main light off and a lamp on with them sitting on my lap or my husband’s 4. Turn off the lamp and turn on their sound machine / night light 5. We put them in bed, snuggle them in make sure they have their favorite stuffed animal 6. We recite Goodnight Moon by heart we started reading it at every bedtime since they transitioned to their own room so now we have it memorized it singles to them that the routine is ending and it’s time to go to sleep 6. Give kisses say sweet dreams, love you, see you in the morning and leave with the door open a crack

I found out I'm pregnant yesterday morning and I'm so excited!! I had the same feeling as you did even though it only took me 3 months to get pregnant. I got an extremely faint positive the first month and sadly lost that baby early on. The second month was negative and I got ny period late due to stress of wondering if I was pregnant. I decided not to try at all this month and not even think about it at all. I lived this month like a normal month and then I was IN SHOCK when I took a test. God always blesses us when we give everything to Him and just trust!! Praying for your baby<3
@maevecostello2629Ай бұрын
Ugh I haven’t even given birth yet to our baby, but the part where you’re asked to move makes me so angry, and I’ve been there with just me and my husband finding a really nice spot at a festival and clearly enjoying our time alone and then people rudely coming up and asking us if they can take the spot we were in and when I said “in a few minutes” they proceeded to just stand to the side watching us until we moved. I still get angry thinking about that
@maevecostello2629Ай бұрын
And this was a spot far in the back that they only noticed when they saw us there

I’m sorry you had that challenging interaction. I think twin motherhood is overwhelming in many ways and when little moments and encounters like that one happen, it’s one too many drops in the cup. 🤍 you’re an amazing mama and amazing woman. Also, being emotional is ok, it’s only being human. Always enjoy your vlogs and it makes me look forward to my boys being the age the girls are at!

I rarely comment Courtney….but that story!?? That is INSANE. That is terribly, terribly RUDE. What is wrong with those people!?? Who would do that!??? You are not overreacting at all. How much you have on your plate, that ONE moment of solace… I’ve been there!! And I only have one little one! He is 21 months and I have challenging moments every single day, ahh! Ugh, I would have been so upset. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I love your videos <3 Thank you for sharing!!

so happy you commented, it’s nice to hear from you ☺️ thank you for the reassurance, SO TRUE about the moment of solace!! some days really are just so hard but all these comments reminding me I’m not alone with these feelings makes me feel so much better truly - so thank you 🫶🏼

Hi court - it’s normal to feel weird about interactions with your kids and strangers when you are solo mommying. My daughter has food allergies and sometimes a fun innocent moment of someone offering her food turns into an anxiety provoking nightmare that ruins everything. Mothers bear the biggest burdens!
@courtneycapanoАй бұрын
Oh wow I can’t even imagine the added layer of stress when allergies are in the mix, that must be so hard! And definitely difficult to navigate!! because you know peoples intentions are good with offering to share but that doesn’t really matter when it comes to the safety of our kids 🥲
@thatboyandgirlmamaАй бұрын
Literally as you were telling your story I was out-loud saying “no that would have made me feel yucky too”. I’m sorry sweet friend, it’s okay to feel crummy about a situation even if that family didn’t have “ill intent”. Being a mama is amazing, but hard work. You did an awesome thing taking the girls out by yourself… celebrate that when you feel like you can. ♥️ hugs

1000% that family was wrong for that. Extremely inconsiderate. There's nothing wrong with you, you were caught off guard! I think subconsciously you knowing wren could've gotten hurt among everything else that was going on but trying your best to get through it politely makes perfect sense as to why you'd feel kinda sad/drained after. I'm sorry you went through that. You're doing great, you're both incredible parents, pls don't doubt yourself ❤
@courtneycapanoАй бұрын
i appreciate you thanks so much for the peace of mind. I truly felt so weird afterwards and just needed to vent. I think the route of it all was that i wouldn’t want any other parent to feel the way I did after that situation 🥲 it’s hard out here some days!

Totally not over reacting! Come onnnnn you see a mom alone with her two toddlers and you make them get up and move? That area is clearly occupied, move along!! I get wanting a picture, but if it’s so important, they could have waited. It’s not like they were jumping on/off and they could grab a quick picture.. yall were eating!!!

You mentioned Wren in your videos having an autoimmune disorder. Both my mother and myself have a couple of them. I'm wondering if they're related? I'm not sure if you feel comfortable sharing more of this with me. As usual, I enjoyed your video. I'm excited about your new endeavor with your shop. Will this be able to cover all sizes? I'd love to come see it the next time we're there. ❤
@courtneycapanoАй бұрын
the doctor assured us this isn’t genetic and it’s just unfortunately the way the virus manifested in Wren’s body 🥲 I appreciate you sharing that though bc I know some auto immune diseases can be linked to family history! YAY you absolutely have to make a trip up to MA and come shop. we will absolutely be size inclusive!!

Oh my lovely, fellow twin mumma here and I just wanted to say that I don't think you're overreacting to the picnic situation. I think especially with twins people just don't realise the things that go through your mind before making every single decision, including where is safe and nice to eat. It sounds like they were just very inconsiderate, feigning niceness to create a situation where you would take their photo. Sending you love and hugs and reassurance from a kindred mumma xxx

when the woman and the man notice we have a stable relationship and we love each other then you want to create a family equal to children so I can understand that women react the way they do when they finally have children because it rarely happens all at once it can take months and the longer it takes, the more insecure a woman becomes, but sooner or later it usually resolves itself, so I understand her reaction
