I forgot the title of this one as well as the channel but thankfully searching up "short film time travel cube" immediately put this on the results.

We always thought this was coming and would change the face of warfare. Now that it is here, China is developing mass producable directed-energy-weapons that will make AI-drones obsolete again. Light moves faster than anything. Rail-gun artillery and DEW's will be the final horrors of war.

I know it's low budget, but on the spaceships ,behind the pilots ,a 90° 10 inch wood stove elbow ? or is that a dryer vent elbow.......😊😊

The dream at the beginning came from the prism, because there was the dream of the lady then a brief shot of the prism in the alien's hand, then the soldier wakes up. The message of the dream was that if you shoot the guy in the rubber mask, what you did in the dream will be what you do to me. The soldier was about to shoot the masked alien but then he was reminded of the dream, again through or by the prism because there was again a brief shot of the prism. With the dream in mind he was extra cautious about pulling the trigger. By the end he had not killed but likely saved the alien. So the soldier gets another message, a vision of reunification with the lady. This message was from gratitude, saying this is what you did for me. There's lots more subtleties in there but I believe the above comes close. Communication through empathy. Poetic title, too. How can one not watch it with a title like that?

But wait, how'd she start a colony by herself. I was thinking they would make the baby survive by some effect of intergalactic travel and that would lead somewhere totally different.
