This interview explains so much about Nic Cage. He's very cultured and likes art - probably a little (or a lot) pretentious, so when he gets cast in these wacky roles he's trying to be very serious and it comes across as comical

Even tho hes pretentious, hes very self aware

Janet reno is scary. So stop voting this this crap in. Only thing worse was john ashcroft. So sexually repressed he had the statue of the lady of liberty altered. Because he couldn't handle a bare bronze boob. I'll have respect for the president. Regardless of party. That lets lady justice pop out her tit. As our founders intended. If you're troubled by a nude statue. You aren't anyone I care to know. My opinion.

Jeff Foxworthy was known in this era as the biggest selling comedian ever however during this particular time Larry the Cable Guy was just as successful as his buddy Jeff and every bit as funny. That combined with two other super comedians Bill Engval and Ron White also at the peak of their careers that when the 4 of them agreed to tour together for the Blue Collar comedy tour, it created arguably the funniest and definitely the most successful comedy tour in history. It was the dream team of comedy.
