Why didn't you put sharpen and vignette before cst? Any specific reasons you put them after the cst node?
@moonbowb9 күн бұрын
Yes, I always put effects like sharpening, vignetting, halation after the rec709 conversion node. Because everything before this node is to correct the footage. All other things like effects or luts are to create a certain mood

Is there any source to learn theoretical part of colours and colour correction, grading everything regarding colours for editing purpose. Cuz I don't know what to do when I open a video to edit. Now i didn't understand this white balance though you explained it good . What should I do... How can I know that I can change or add particular thing, is there any book or something else, please 🙏 let me know sir

Yes there is! You can go to blackmagic design’s website here: www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/training scroll down and you will find free pdf books for every page in davinci resolve. Download the pdf book for color. It’s a great start for beginners 🫶🏻🥳

Hi, first off, great video. Thank you. I use Cullen's Linear Gain method as well, however I noticed you left out two things. After changing your node to Linear, you want to drop down to your Lum Mix and drag that to 0. After that, set your gray point by adjusting the Pivot to .355 I've found both of those additions to be very helpful. That being said, I'm not adjusting into a LUT. I'm using Color Space Transforms and adjusting in DaVinci Wide Gamut... YMMV.
@moonbowb16 күн бұрын
@@JayWalsh Hii , thank you for reminding me. I missed to add the details you mentioned. Also I normally work in davinci wide gamut workflow. I used Lut only for tutorial. 🙂↔️
