Great job. I had trouble figuring out which end was up. They don't make carbs like they used too 😅

Oh my goodness... I don't mean to be mean, but you really should take this video down. It's great that you are working on these thing and willing to post videos. You are learning a lot and doing good... BUT, there are so many remarks that are inaccurate like "you can use any type" and using sandpaper and "super high torque is finger tight... Also, you missed a lot of areas that should have had some coverage. Maybe take it down and then do a new video. ????

I've just bought a qualcast classic 35s which needed a new carburettor. I have now replaced the old with the new, and can I say (in my humble opinion )that this is the best youtube explanation around mechanical workings of the carburettor. You kept it simple and gave a great explanation. I've now got the know-how to be able to sort my wonderful lawnmower! Thankyou.

your rpm rang on that motor is 4500-5500, 5000 being optimal. May want to look into changing prop pitch

You lost my interest by showing your obvious lack of confidence with your 3rd (um). No confidence shows lack of knowledge. You cannot promote yourself um with such obvious weakness. What to do now? You can either listen to those commenters who are obvious family or same as. They see only the little baby boy they once held, and would not dare risk a scratch on that babies feelings. Or you can learn that once you leave the over protected nest, no one will give a flip at how cute a baby you were. Lace up your boots, look the world square in the eye and let it know that you are the very best at what you do. Never forget that no matter how fat they are, the big dogs are always hungry. You're welcome. Don't forget to pay it forward someday. Oh, and make sure to always use motor oil with zinc in it for your small engine.

Very well explained video. On a Husqvarna riding mower, I suppose I need to first remove the beauty cover exposing the carburetor better. Then look for my idle screw. I recently had some repairs done, it runs great, but the idling is a little high. Thanks, John

Everyone giving the guy a hard time but all of us who have been twisting wrenches for years know that lessons are learned from experience and it takes time to get that experience.

Yeah but he's advising us on how to use gasket sealant, on an engine... everybody who turns wrenches knows it's best to get it done right the first time. I turned off this video after 4 seconds cause i knew i didn't want to trust this kid on how to seal my engine.. lol.. the goal is to not have to go back and redo the job. It's cute he's trying but right off rip he doesnt seem to be coming at me correct enough to trust him on this topic AT ALL.
