I’ve been playing on and off for 11 years. In total my actual playtime is probably around 5 but I’m nowhere near where I should be by now because I’ve lacked the actual learning bit and just played around. For me, Modes were complicated until they weren't. Once it all clicked, how they're simply modulations of the major scale, it was obvious.
