I'm just a person who's played the guitar for about 42 years. And to spite a lot of "professional props" from local professionals at an amateur night I used to perform at. I consider myself a work in progress. A combination of dad taught(who played "by ear"), lessons, and self taught guitar. Also played piano, drums, and bass. Everyone who has seen me perform after finding out that I have played multiple instruments comment on how I seem to combine the techniques of the play of all of those and concentrate them on to the fretboard of a guitar. As of late I have been watching some of these videos hoping to increase my innovation. And this video is one That will have an impact on some of my future performances. Thanks for the tips!

Very helpful, never occurred to me to land on the different chord tones.

It's a simple idea, but it makes you think more clearly about the chord tones! Thanks for watching!!

Being a self taught amateur who struggles with music theory , I found this extremely helpful tying together several concepts I've learned and haven't figured out wtf to do with them. Gracias!
