Great start mate! Definitely should reduce the amount of vibration to not affect sensors data and posteriorly all the computation around sensor fusion

Yes. It is true. Especially depth camera data is sensitive to vibration. I will need to make the chassis and sensor mounts more stable.

There is an official instruction on how to assemble and use the robot arm: github.com/huggingface/lerobot/blob/main/examples/10_use_so100.md The gamepad controller is not officially supported yet but I opened a PR that you can use: github.com/huggingface/lerobot/pull/516

nice work, could you share the hardware set and buying links 👍

I bought most of the components a few years ago and just recently reassembled the robot using them. So, I don't have exact links, and there are likely better analogs for some of the components now. But the main components are: - Raspberry Pi 5 - Intel RealSense D435 depth camera - Neato laser scanner - 2x RoboClaw 2x15A Motor Controllers - Chassis made from separate components + some mecanum wheels

Nice tutorial! Which 3D printer are you using for this? Could I get the reference? I would like to replicate this but I am new to 3D printing

I used Creality Ender 3 V3 KE But you can use most of the 3D printers

Fantastic! Can you please tell me which realsense camera you used? I'm about to make the SO-ARM100 as well, but I didn't see any recommendations in the tutorials about buying a camera🤔

I use RealSense d435 but I do it just because I had it. I use it as a normal RGB camera and ignore the depth data for now. Any camera that you can mount to the robot will work fine. I didn't see any standard camera or mounting method for SO-ARM100, I think people are still experimenting with different cameras.
