The written pattern has a few mistakes and unclear instructions, so watching this video is needed.

Two things you addressed that I really appreciated 1) when sewing up the hat do the brim from the other side so it looks nice turned up and 2) working in the bars also to avoid the gaping holes. That really makes a difference! Thanks!

Used super bulky weight yarn for this and was able to finish in a few hours! I find this ribbed design was easier to do than other patterns I've followed and love the result. Thank you!

Have you ever crocheted 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons with the same edge lengths and sewn them together into a soccer ball? I am working on seaming the 32 pieces together. About halfway finished the seams. Every pentagon has 5 hexagons surrounding it. Hexagons sometimes are attached to another hexagon. It is an interesting design to figure out. Search for a video gluing paper pieces together. It shows how the 5 and 6 sided pieces fit to make a ball.

I used Essentials Merino DK extrafine / superwash 100% wool. Hook #4 and l am super pleased with the results. Thanks to your excellent instructions and description of the stitch count, I was able to adjust the chain to 36, instead of 42 (the mittens are for my 11 year-old granddaughter). I didn't use the wrist band at the beginning, just made the mitten extra long, and only 2 rows at the top, after the thumb join instead of 3 or 4. The thumb worked out just fine. I might put an extra stitch to tighten it, if necessary. Thank you again so much. Your unisex crochet bonnet also came out very nicely as well. I liked the stitch SO MUCH l made a snood to go with it. 😊😊😊

I love this tutorial but I am TERRIBLE at adjusting patterns. My adult son loves this pattern but wants three sections of two different colors, 6 sections total and I cannot figure out how I should be adjusting the sections to make a 6th. Can anyone help?
@annushka21016 күн бұрын
I do recommend you crocheting one section with 7 decreases as I am telling at the beginning of this video. Check its width and it may happen that it will be perfect for the adult size. Also you can try using the yarn that looks heavier than the one I am using in the video
