Love from the US! I just bought a new printer. The last one only lasted 4 years. I would run the one you have into the ground. The ink is what kills me. I even buy off brand ink and it's still $$$$

Hi Megan, I don’t know if I’ve missed a video but I’m concerned for you 🥺 7 and a half minutes in and I get the impression you’ve been, and still are struggling? Apologies if I have got this wrong, if not sending hugs and good juju your way. 2024 really has been A Year 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 xx

Lovely video! I’m gonna have some unused binders for the new year as I’m moving stuff around and I think I’m going to use them for memorykeeping for larger trips! It’s easier than having to glue a bunch of stuff into my journal, but I still prefer bound book for everyday writing. Thanks for the inspiration <3

Can I ask what kind of hole punch you're using? I got the filofax original one to use for personal size paper but it's such poor quality. As always lovely to spend some time unwinding and hearing you talk!

I would love a flip-trough of the books you liked, that'd be very cool. Also, you really have an eye for beautiful clips, the one with the snowflakes made of light and the moss shots were chef's kiss. ❤ Your recent consistency really inspires me and it's so ...calming? idk what word to use but definitely something very positive and nice to see you in a Working system, especially while my own system is kinda up in the air. Really made me want to kick my backside into gear and finally start in on my own books again, to document my Christmas as well. 🎄 Lovely to hear that your Christmas turned out good in the end and I hope you have a great New Year's Eve/start to 2025. May the new year bring joy, kindness and health to all of us. 🤞🍀🎆

That was so lovely and cozy :) I wasn't able to do normal things for Christmas this year due to illness and this video brought me a lot of cozy vibes. Your big black filofax folder with the thick block of pages was very satisfying :)

This year was also not great for me health wise. I did do my sleep test at the beginning of the year and it was not helpful. I have a lot of sleepiness problems that are now better after stopping my antidepressants, but still lingering. Health journeys are most often frustrating and non-linear. I wish you lots of strengths to go through it :)

So happy to see a video from you. I can relate to the struggle of this year, as I feel like I've been through the wringer since the autumn of 2022. I hope you'll be feeling better soon and get some results from the sleep clinic on time, and actually get the help you need. As many has said before, your videos bring a lot of comfort. I have also decided to try a ring system for a change, since it seems super nice, but I have a day-free to fall back on at any time, which feels like a good safety net. I wish you a calm continuation of December and a manageable January.

Merry Christmas! Completely off topic from journalling, but your experience of a graveyard outside your hospital window reminded me of this hotel I just visited. There is no graveyard, but this fancy hotel and spa is a former asylum. Some of the doors still have those little hinged doors/opennings at the top (don't know what to call those- peep holes--peep doors?) where guards could look in on "patients". We were allowed to walk around one of the buildings and go to the very top of one to see out the old guard post. The vibe is really unusual, past meets present, historical and beautiful architecture meets kinda spooky.

this year i feel like i've been in and out of the trenches. january-april i was in the trenches, and then again from september to now. it was a good year in a lot of ways too, but i spent a majority of the year stressed out of my mind and feeling like i was a headless chicken running around. i'm sorry to hear you've been in the trenches too, and i hope next year is kinder to us both. happy holidays megan! side note: also pleased to hear the inserts are available on patreon and will be on the shop at some point! your inserts give me life

My own (physical) health is Not It rn, so sorry if this comment is a bit of a mess. But I just wanted to say it was lovely to hear from you again and I hope things improve for you + your family soon. 🍀 And I hope the sleep clinic results will be helpful to you. 🤞 I have been struggling to decide for years if my own sleep issues are just part of the downsides of autism/ADHD or worth seeking help for on their own... Maybe once I get my other "most current" health issue fixed I'll re-evaluate that... I'm trying really really hard to enjoy my birthday month of December, but December has not been making it easy at all, so I feel you in your struggle for holiday cheer. But we have to keep trying, don't we? Every moment of joy is a victory with the current state of the world, I think... Anyway, enough about me. I love Oleander, so cute. I now strongly desire a sleepy owl plush.🦉And I'm also obsessed with the lichen on your window sill, lichen is just pretty. 💚The rings in a Hobonichi cover is S tier clever, that's honestly tempting me towards rings quite badly, even though on my last try I didn't get on with rings. The Aura Estelle binder is super chic, congrats on that lovely collab. If you do end up trying out the Hobonichi Weeks; I for one would love to see you "do your thing" in one as a huge fan of that planner. I think your small handwriting would fit it well too. That was a lot of comment, oh my. 😅TL;DR is I'm happy you're back to making videos and I hope you manage to snatch some holiday spirit out of The Horrors. And that you enjoy the dream journaling! I used to do it very regularly in the past and it can be a lot of fun/a nice way to get something nice out of sleeping when it's A Struggle™. Best wishes from Germany.

so glad to hear from you again megan, and sorry that it's been such a rough time. i'm turning 29 in little over a week and this has been my very first year of existence without a major mental health crisis, which has been super weird, but that's to say i completely get it. i see and celebrate how hard you're trying, especially with those seemingly small things to encourage that sense of the festive season, even when you're feeling the opposite. it might not feel like it all the time, but you're doing amazing things for your neuroplasticity - little by little, you're helping your brain and nervous system become free from what isn't helpful for you, and expanding into what is.

I hope your sleep study went well! Getting mine changed my life for the better. I don't know what you were going in for but I was testing for narcolepsy. My life was falling apart at the seams but now that I'm diagnosed and medicated, I'm slowly putting things back together and I'm really happy. I hope something like that can happen for you!
