Way too late but adding that it's possible this game just isn't for someone like you. My enjoyment in Cuphead was in grinding over and over to the point that I felt locked in enough that I could take down a boss no matter what phases is threw at me. Then beating the boss always felt so rewarding. Cuphead is about reaction, not anticipation. And it seems like having to react quickly really bothers you. Therefore it's not a game for you and that's okay. But it doesn't make the game bad or flawed because you didn't enjoy it. Also I think your point about not taking in all the visuals while playing is fair, but not taking in the music is crazy

This game is not fun, the visuals and the soundtrack make it bearable, but the gameplay is just not engaging enough, even if there was a very easy mode. The game is 90% boss battles, and 10% actual levels. I think if they went the other way around and made some very creative levels, they could have a more engaging game. The controls are not very intuitive, neither are some of the mechanics, especially if you compare this with Rayman: Legends, for instance. If you played that one, you will find Cuphead to be frustrating and not enjoyable at all.

I didnt think about it but I watched this video when it was new and a few years later i bought a sunfire coupe as a second car. The rendition here is pretty close to accurate but you didnt make the quality sliders low enough. Love my gm garbage

listen, I love Cuphead to the moon and back. It's one of the first games. I saw some of my favorite let's players play. (along with Bendy, but I'm not gonna get with that.) but I can definitely see where you're coming from the difficulty in the game isn't for everybody and if you don't like it that's 100% fine if you don't like it that doesn't mean that's a bad game and I know you're not saying that, but I just wanna explain to anybody themselves salty about this to understand that opinions exist and that Cuphead isn't for everybody like I'll be completely real with you pizza tower never really got my interest up. It's nothing I really wanted to play, but I'm not gonna bash on the game because I don't wanna play it or I find it weird if people like it that's fine, that's why there's so many different types of games.
