Legendary upload, also YOU GOD DAMN KNOW IT THAT GEN 7 8 DEVILLE I GOT TWO AND THEY'RE GREAT BAYBEEEEEEE TBI was only the HT4100. The 4.5 and 4.9 got multiport. Also the "most advanced" part was more so about the engine computer and it's onboard diagnostics, which didn't require a scan tool to read codes. Or a paperclip, for that matter! Holding OFF and WARMER on the climate control will put you into diagnostics mode where you can monitor and override a lot of different parameters. Also every single one of them was CHAIN DRIVEN to a 4 speed automatic. The 4T60/4T60E, except the Allante which was optionally CHAIN DRIVEN to a 5 speed manual. At the time, Cadillacs had *no* sport in them whatsoever, but you could actually go into the ECU override and force the computer to wait for shifts until 4500RPM. Or drop into first at it's governed top speed of 107. Your choice. Gotta say, I love the old FWD Cadillacs. The RWD ones always feel like junk to drive. Also a friend of mine has a 1970 Chevelle that looks scarily similar to what you made, right down to the absolutely gutless straight 6. Except his is a 3 speed manual and a Mexico car with no heat factory. No headreasts or seatbelts either. Because Mexico. It spent 16 years as a chicken coop. 200KMH speedo, though. He's gonna swap a 5.3 in it.
