I drive a 2019 Prius hybrid. In the summer I have had times when I could get 1200 to 1400 miles on a tanks of gas. Once I got 1700 miles. The trick is not driving 55-65 miles per hour on the interstate. Drive 50 miles per hour or lower, use gas mode to start and get to speed you want. Change to EV while driving. Let off on gas when you see a stop light and time it so you don't come to a complete stop. Always, always start off slowly. You have a dashboard monitor that tells you how your driving is doing. It's a bit of a game that rewards you with good mileage. Oh, in the winter the milage is less. Usually 800 or 900 miles to a tank of gas. Still, I think a Prius is the best car on the road!

The Borla exhaust on this one, is it the standard Revology Borla offering or is it the Attak version? I like how this one sounds. Thanks for putting this through its paces.
@KarlBrauerCars3 күн бұрын
According to the order sheet this car had the standard Borla exhaust. If you go on Revology's site you can spec out cars with a more aggressive Borla exhaust system, which I'm now curious to hear. Planing to do another test of something like the GT500KR version, with the 710 hp engine and that more aggressive exhaust system, in the future.

@KarlBrauerCars7 күн бұрын
Good question. I did not notice any exhaust smell. However, the low location of the gas filler (centered between the taillights) made it tricky to fill it up without spilling fuel. So I did smell some gas for a few minutes after fill ups (mostly on my own hands), but otherwise no bad odors.

The reason why I own and drive Ford products is very simple. The Ford family still has deep involvement in the company and its direction. There are lessons learned in all industrial enterprises, and the failure of the fully electric Mach-E and ridiculous Lightning F150. The mandated EV fantasy pushed by fanatics in bureaucracy, shoved down the throat of average consumers whether they like it or not, rather than understanding full on EVs are a snooty virtue signaling 'holier than thou' champagne cocktail party vanity purchase of elites. They just don't work in the real world without massive subsidies from taxpayers to create a general market. ICE propulsion systems are here to stay and already have a very mature value / energy chain with engine technology / hybrid systems improving by the day. No need to create massive pollution with mining lithium and cobalt with all the expense of additional hydrocarbon energy inputs to refine and transport components in the supply chain. The road to a positive environmental future lay in the development of highly efficient ICE, hybrid and hydrogen platforms.

I hear you. It was tough for me to conceive when I first looked at the site. Now that I've driven the car I can see what you're paying for. It's still A LOT of money for a 1960s car, but the degree of refinement, technology, and capability really is what every original Mustang/muscle car fan dreams about. If you have the means (and Revology's production rate and backlog of orders suggest plenty of folks do), driving these cars is a truly magical experience. And people LOVE them. I have owned two Ford GTs (a 2005 and a 2019), and I've had lots of exotic cars on loan. The degree of interest and genuine happiness this car caused was unprecedented in my experience.
