put 45k miles on my 2013 volt over the last 19 months. averaged about the same mpg. my commute to work is about 85 miles each way, 178 miles each day, about 100-110 of those daily miles are on all electric with a 12 year old battery. also built and installed a 200w flush mounted solar roof, and mine starts backfeeding my house when im fully charged. the new prius is 2011 technology at a 2030 price. not sure why everyone overlooked the volt when it came out. paid 6k for mine, its already paid for itself in gas savings. this prius might be able to do that in a decade.... has to keep up with depreciation. insurance is 21$/mo lol.

Unless you have a shop. Are retired, and already have the car. You are not going to be able to Find a 64 -68 mustang And get it to this quality in 6 months for cheaper . If i had the money i would buy it. If you don't like it move on don't say its over priced just say you can't afford it. Nothing wrong with being honest.

The styling is great! But I don’t have much else positive to say about it. I appreciate that they tried to do something interesting with the “exhaust” but at the end of the day I don’t like it at all. It drones so easily and it makes burnouts sound annoying due to the cacophony of shrill noises. I wonder if the new presidential administration will push for relaxed regulations on V8s again. With Kuniskis back in the saddle it could make for the perfect storm.

For interior temperature control, maybe you can use an ‘EcoFlow Wave 2 - Portable Air Conditioner’ for heating & AC? It has its own power-bank and weighs 32 lbs. For an additional 27 lbs you could add an an ‘EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 3 Plus’ power-bank.

They are stunning but I’ve always to see SOMEONE drive them properly! Unfortunately, for us mere mortals we would need megamillions money to even think of purchasing one. These are for ridiculously rich dudes. And there is nothing wrong with that. For me, I’ll keep driving my Prius daily and my 1985 Mercedes 500 SEC on weekends. Love my SEC. It’s good enough until my alt coins go from zero to hero. 😂

A pricey proposition for sure. But with all the Mustang fans in the world you only need a tiny sliver that both possess the financial means and appreciate what Revology has accomplished to have a viable, if not thriving, business model. As you say, for the folks who can afford it, enjoy!

All the use cases you mentioned you can do better with a foldable compact electric scooter that you can get for $200. My one hits about 25 mph and has a 20 mile range. Paid $250 like 4 years ago and I keep It in my vehicle at all times.

If it fits in your car that’s a good price/performance combo. To me that’s everything. The best scooter in the world means nothing to me if brining it along (in one of my two-door cars, with non-SUV storage space) is a PITA.

Great review. Looks like there's a lot to enjoy about it, even if I don't see myself owning one yet, at least not at that price or with the speed EV tech is advancing. I think Stla missed the mark by not offering one-pedal drive mode, though. The performance application for having it is obvious.

That’s the car. Seriously, just the dynamics alone make the $60,000-$70,000 GT350R “the” car. Now throw in the flat-plane-crank engine and it’s all over for anything else (including the $325,000 GTD, in my not-so-humble opinion).

@KarlBrauerCars23 күн бұрын
Far more than 10% of this car is standard Mustang. The engine alone (straight from the GT500) makes it more than 10%.
@blackberrythorns23 күн бұрын
@@KarlBrauerCars the engine block is straight from the gt500 but the motor is heavily modified including a dry sump.

@KarlBrauerCars23 күн бұрын
Wouldn’t the cold help the engine make more power?
@rdeh167823 күн бұрын
@KarlBrauerCars actually no , it may help for 1hp in the engine but the cold air effects the level of grip the tires have on the track itself makings traction very poor , not to mention the track was damp in most parts and wet in other parts , Also it was windy that day as well . L
