Depends on whether you send the card to Anki or Migaku Memory. In Migaku Memory you can open the card in the collection view and then press edit.

@@migakuuserguides3414 Thanks, I found it. I'm using the trial version. I feel it shouldn't need so many clicks to edit a card. If I go to collection and open My Cards i should be able to select edit on a card from there, instead of having to open a card then move the mouse to find a small icon in the bottom corner. edit: Right click function on a card already works, so it just needs an edit function added to the existing ones which pop up.

Whenever I click the orange card creation button, the whole page freezes and I have to start over. I'm unable to create any cards. I couldn't find any support on the website so I'm asking here. How can I fix this?

I assume you are refering to the one-click card creation. When creating cards you can do so via buttons or with shortcuts. For buttons you have an orange one (E), and a purple one (Q). The orange sends the sentence to the card creator WITHOUT directly creating the card, and the purple one directly creates the card. So if you don't want to directly send the card to Migaku Memory/Anki, only use the orange button. This corresponds to the shortcut E.

randomly got recommended this by youtube, it looks like an amazing tool for learning! sadly, it's only for google chrome, so I'll have to stick with anki and yomitan for now.

I was having a issue with the update on chrome so I deleted it and then tried to reinstall it but never could so i am using Microsoft edge the download for the extension worked fine it is working on youtube just fine!

One-Click creation is now not a setting anymore. You have two card creation buttons now, the one with a bolt is for one-click creation.

Which version of Anki does this new extension work with? I'm still using Anki 2.1.49. I saw for the most recent version there was qt5 and qt6. I'm still using the Legacy version and I haven't upgraded yet because I don't want to jump straight into the Migaku SRS just yet. I'd like to get everything situated before doing that.

I cannot create a card in Netflix to export to Anki. The screen just freezes whether I click the create card button or shortcut Q. I checked and the setting to allow video and image capture is enabled. Please help. I did not have this problem using the legacy version of Migaku.

MIgaku keeps reinstalling the library randomly 2 or 3 times a day, not even on PC power downs, but pretty much randomly, logging me out -> reinstalling. How to fix and make a permanent install of the library?

If you haven't figured this out already, you can do this in extension settings, or the dashboard in the extension.

Legacy had the option to make the pop up window bigger and to hover over words within the popup window (mainly for branching with monolingual definitions) as well as compatibility with yomitans scanning system. Removing these features is a huge blunder. your customers don't want restricted options. Know your target audience please. I'm back to doing things manually until this is fixed. Disappointing.

Im learning spanish and turned off the gender coloring. But the flashcards I create have gender colouring. I cannot find a way to turn that off. Help please, I find that super annoying :)

I heard they have their own flashcard app and they make it difficult to export the words to any other app. Is this true? I kind of want it but I just want to export it to a csv file, not interested in using their flashcard app

Thanks, I was about to restart Anki but it was a headache to set up addons and everything. It took me less than 10 minutes to setup Migaku, and to just enjoy Netflix or reading while studying with it. It's great!

Hi. What does it mean when the word is colored purple? You mention blue, red, orange, and green for the pitch patterns. I also checked the Pitch Coloring info, and it does not provide an explanation for purple.

Unfortunately, with the push for Migaku Memory, I'll have to cancel my subscription once the legacy extension stops working Here are some of the issues: You can export to Migaku Memory, but you can't export from it (to prevent you from switching back to Anki) You can't manually mark a word as learning, making using Anki a hassle I might be wrong and maybe thats not the intention, but to me, if the new version worked seamlessly with Anki, Migaku would be a no brainer to almost anyone (tech savvy or not) There are many other concerns as well. I really hope these changes are addressed so that I can start using the new version and keep enjoying Migaku altogether!
