Thanks, I was about to restart Anki but it was a headache to set up addons and everything. It took me less than 10 minutes to setup Migaku, and to just enjoy Netflix or reading while studying with it. It's great!

6:30 I'd love in future updates that a advanced setting to enable to manually set a word as "leaning" be added. :)) Keep up the good work guys, in many aspects this extension already surpassed the old one, the rest will be just a matter of time!

I just installed the new browser extension yesterday and it is so nice. Anki was at times a bit of a headache for someone like me who is not the best with computers or technology. It was so easy to upload my anki decks to the new extension and sentence mining was such an easy and seamless process. The migaku mobile app is great too. No more having to remember to sink my desktop anki and mobile app anki after every use. Keep up the good work!

randomly got recommended this by youtube, it looks like an amazing tool for learning! sadly, it's only for google chrome, so I'll have to stick with anki and yomitan for now.

I was having a issue with the update on chrome so I deleted it and then tried to reinstall it but never could so i am using Microsoft edge the download for the extension worked fine it is working on youtube just fine!

There are too many small (and big) differences to list. You can just try both and see for yourself. As for the second question, no, this is the replacement for the legacy extension, as the legacy extension is going to stop working once the manifest v3 update to chrome comes out.

Hi. What does it mean when the word is colored purple? You mention blue, red, orange, and green for the pitch patterns. I also checked the Pitch Coloring info, and it does not provide an explanation for purple.

Why is it that when I try to create a card its not creating a card? And yes I have the extension I have anki open I have the migaku app open I enabled recordings etc.

Unfortunately, with the push for Migaku Memory, I'll have to cancel my subscription once the legacy extension stops working Here are some of the issues: You can export to Migaku Memory, but you can't export from it (to prevent you from switching back to Anki) You can't manually mark a word as learning, making using Anki a hassle I might be wrong and maybe thats not the intention, but to me, if the new version worked seamlessly with Anki, Migaku would be a no brainer to almost anyone (tech savvy or not) There are many other concerns as well. I really hope these changes are addressed so that I can start using the new version and keep enjoying Migaku altogether!

Trying out migaku now and facing some problems.​ When I try to generate Audio and image or add it from file it always show "Some of your audio/image files failed to upload"​ I'm using Brave(chromium) and all settings are in default also shields are turn off.​ ​

Please try it with Google Chrome. Currently the extension is being develop for Google Chrome. It may "work" for other chromium based browsers, but there are often unforseen bugs. If you still experience the same problems on chrome, please join our Discord (link in the video description) and open an issue, so the devs can help you out.

Can Migaku do mining from Netflix using an iPhone or iPad?

No. We will be adding more mobile mining options in the future, but Netflix will likely not be one of them. Due to DRM protections adding Netflix support on mobile is not possible.
