Everytime I play along with this song on bass I'm in tears, it takes me back so far away, it makes me feel in a way I hardly feel anymore these days.

This is my all-time favorite Bukowski poem. It still hits me deep even after a few years without hearing it. . I only look up the youtube videos with his voice, reading his poetry... all the other ones with the weird music playing in the background (and just some dude reading it) sounds so cheap to me.. Lol

No one said it would be easy Did anyone tell you the road would be straight and long? Relax your mind and give it all to me 'Cause you know and I know our love is strong enough [Chorus] To weather the rain To weather the snow To weather the storm To weather the rain To weather the snow To weather the storm KATSEYE 'My Way' Lyrics & Meaning | Genius Verified [Verse 2] Often I see fear in your eyes And sometimes, I know, your heart is full of little arrows But trust in me and no one can do you wrong 'Cause I know and you know our love is strong enough [Chorus] To weather the rain To weather the snow To weather the storm To weather the rain To weather the snow To weather the storm

I wish to find somebody who love music as much as I do. I just picture me and the love of my life in our dim lit living room late at night while the kids are sleeping, our half empty wine glasses on the coffee table, body pressed against each other while we slow dance in place feeling our hearts beat in synch with one another and a tear secretly rolls down both of our faces while thinking “we made it.” 😞🥺

Used to sit around the record player with my brother n cousins on Fri after they would get paid from automobile plants n they purchased an album every week in the 70’s the D (Detroit) n listen then analyze n identify each layer of instruments played or words sung. Omg that Willie Weeks was killing it this song was considered a Jam Session. Was just devastated the day we heard he died remember it like yesterday. Wow so sad what a terrible loss he was a musical genius.

Really after all the mixed messages you sent me over a time of 6 months all the wasted time I am going to tell you something here. Who told you to do this why did you listen to who ever told you to do this a 3rd party the prostitute told you to do this you go back to the prostitute and yourself and ask both of yourselves why you listened
