I didn’t experience any more mosquitoes than any other outdoor restaurant. They have many fans and we pointed one one the wall out way, and one on the floor for the legs and had no problem and didn’t use any spray. I’d imagine they may have their days since it’s a farm, but we loved it and stayed for a few hours to enjoy the view. No road so no cars or motorbike sounds, just birds and a breeze.

And it's also the Most Expensive in Thailand, the courses here have price wars, if golfing is slow, Thai's crazy logic is raise the price to make up for lack of players. The prices they mention in this video are false

@@MONKLJ you are correct that golf is more expensive than Pattaya. If you join a golf society then rates are similar, and many courses have memberships for people who play all the time and then it becomes cheap. But golf in Thailand can add up because renting a cart and rehired caddy is already around 900-1000 baht. In a very hot country, better play flat courses or be in great health if you want to walk.

The Rental on the 3rd floor in this video has just been rented for a year starting in late September. This rental unit and the unit next door, which is the entire top floor, are both for sale as well, with the one unit being rented already which any new owner would have to accept.

Unfortunately, the owner of this shop who became my friend has passed away from a motorbike accident back in January. His Thai wife and daughter run the shop and they are great people and will take care of you.

I used their Van service from BKK airport to Cha am. I also used their fan from Cha am to Dolphin Bay for a half day and they quoted me a custom price to wait around to take us back. The van was awesome for five of us and cheap when divided by 5.

It is possible (but not likely) that this is a problem like Yanny vs. Laurel, which took the internet by storm a few years back, I say not likely because it is predominantly Brits and Aussies who mispronounce Hua Hin and Pattaya. I have been married to a Thai woman for nearly 40 years, and lived in both Thailand and the U.S.and have had thousands of Thai friends overt the years, and the ALL pronounce Pattaya as PATTY-YA not PA-TIE--YA, and pronounce Hua Hin as WAA-HIN not HOOWA_HIN. I am not sure why you are promoting the purposeful mispronunciation of these 2 cities in Thailand, since even in your examples the Thai speakers seem to be pronouncing them correctly.

in every example they pronounced it Hoowa Hin. Waa-hin is a mandarin pronunciation, but we are not in China. Hua means head, Hin means stone and Hua Hin is named after the stones along the beach which early settlers thought looked like heads. There is a mobile device company in Thailand that pronounces Hua as Waa, but thats because the company is Chinese. In terms of how to pronounce Pattaya, I have never personally tried to tell anyone how to pronounce it, only used a Thai language expert who gives a sample, and they also teach how to pronounce Hua Hin as well.
