Marla, I love all your old books, especially the Bibles. I try to rescue them too whenever I’m at estate sales. I particularly love the well read almost beat up ones❤. I just got one last week from 1905❤

Aaahhhh!! I have never seen one in person, not even in an antique store. I wonder if that brand was not common here in the south (Alabama). But my dupe is great until I do find one I can afford!

It is impossible for me to pick a favorite...but if I had to, I guess it would be the marshmallow and Cracker Jack tins. Those turned out so believable. And that rooster must be proudly, but silently, crowing at his fabulous new makeover! You might have struggled with the mechanics and painting of the eagle, but your solutions were creative and look great. Of course that had to be because you had such cute helpers while you worked. Isn't it the best; crafting with the grands. The memories of that time with Miggie will be sweet, for you and them. Their inquisitive, funny questions and comments were the best.....why do you love old things.....😂😂😂 I see future crafters! Hope we see more of them! Thanks for all the great inspiration.❤

😄 I am guessing they'll be popping into future videos here and there! I know they enjoy the attention, no doubt! The tin dupes did turn out nicely, but from 3 feet away 😉 and that works for me. I've kind of turned a corner with my crafting. Instead of "what's everybody else doing?" I'm now asking myself "how can I make a version of that thing I've always wanted?" It's challenging me to think hard for unexpected materials (synthetic hair for the antique paintbrush). I've got a sizeable list of projects I'm planning to film soon. We are in North Carolina this weekend, twins & their parents are with us, and we are having a wonderful time. Will share pics soon ❤️

Doesn't feel like trouble when I'm crafting because it's always more fun than housework!! 🪣🧼 I'm excited to do a big Yankee Doodle Dandy decor for the 4th this year, didn't get to do it during the year of chaos! The video I do have posted is from summer before last. It will make a fun task of unboxing my stored patriotic decor since I haven't seen it in a while! 🇺🇸

I'm a big fan of make do projects to get the look I love. I collect primitive including some portraits. My granddaughter once asked her mom why Grandma had pictures of ugly children with cats. My grandkids are now young adults and I terribly miss all the fun we had. Give yours a big hug from one of their fans. Your projects were awesome!

Not yet! We got it in the dry so that we could use it for storage, which was the most urgent need, but it's not pretty yet! We are looking forward to getting it done this summer, and I will be filming for sure! We got too exhausted by last fall and had to hit the pause button til warmer weather 😄

😅 I love having your granddaughters on the video! I was giggling and laughing from all the shaking of the camera. Little Claire's hands are so tiny that when I first saw them in the video I thought they were the hands of a doll she was holding! Call precious! Oh my, little people sure do shake things up, literally!! 😄 I could not get Margaret to stay off that tripod. She had no idea it mattered at all. But when Claire said "it looked at me" I just cracked up! 😆 what a funny way to say she could see herself in the camera viewfinder! I loved seeing her tiny hands in that first shot, too 😍

I got the little girl ornaments last week! They should still have some. I think I could do a better job on the marshmallow tin next time around, but it still looks good from 3 feet away! 😉 I'm feeling better on new meds with a new doctor, and praising God for it!! 🙌
