Ooooooohhhh I'm so gonna use this. I hate having yo repeatedly scrub at my eyes to remove mascara, especially cos I also wear contacts and want to keep the fiddling with my eyes yo a minimum. Love the multiple use of olive oil!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

That's awesome. I hope it works out for you! Remember to remove the mascara with the olive oil with your eyes closed and keep them closed while you flip the cotton ball and use the dry side of the cotton ball to remove the oil so it doesn't go in your eye. I've used olive oil to remove mascara for so long. It works really well!

Well doing all this you should take the lower metal plate off on the bottom of your fridge and clean the condenser coils. Helps the coils cool down better. Also helps the life of the condenser itself.

Save time buy iron out from hardware store. You add the iron out in the tank, in the toilet water, I add a bit of dish detergent also. The easiest way to do it is leave in overnight to do the job flush in the morning it isn’t an inconvenience to anyone. This is a product that will do the job for you in the tank in the toilet, of course you will have to clean the outside of the toilet. Iron out saves your time money.

@tenminutetasks how much of each wax did you add in? Did you add 1/4 cup of each wax?
@tenminutetasks

I used a 1/4 cup of the candelilla wax alone. It really depends on how warm the climate is for you to have the correct solid feeling you want. If it's not right, you can heat everything to a liquid as you did before and try again. Good luck!

Thank you for your 5 reasons. Mine are, we have to much stuff. We live in a small 2 bedroom house and I just recently emptied our storage unit we had for 9 years. While I donated a lot of stuff we kept bins of photos that I have no place for. I told myself I would continue the purging but stopped. I don't get any help from my husband who is 74 and has health issues. I'm 69 and prefer to be outside in my garden. I know I use that as an excuse and an escape from cleaning. I love a clean house but my husband is the total opposite. It does get overwhelming for me and its eaiser for me to stay outside in my garden. Having someone clean my house once in a while would be a nice treat for myself. 😊

You have every right to use excuses to escape cleaning. Go at your own pace and asking/hiring for help is totally okay! You totally deserve the outcome. Congratulations of emptying your storage unit. That isn't easy, but look at how far you've come. Reward yourself for progress and give yourself lots of grace during the process. You got this! Thanks for commenting!

I never heard of Swedish death cleaning but it certainly makes sense especially after having to clean up after both of my parents passed away. I am 69 years old and have been blessed to live this long. During the pandemic the Lord spoke to me to get my affairs in order. I took that to mean that the Lord was telling me that my husband and I needed to make our final arrangements so when we pass away neither one of us or our children would have to do it. So we did. Having done this for both my parents who were divorced and living in different states was very stressful on me and my other siblings and I knew I did not want to put my kids though it. Now taking this one step further by having a clean decluttered house would even make me happy before I die. My husband is 74 and he has health issues. I thank God for my good health and that at 69 I can still clean and do handyman jobs around our house even though my husband will make a mess 5 minutes after its clean I love when my house feels clean and its decluttered. Thank you for this video. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s amazing how you’ve taken such meaningful steps to prepare and organize everything for your family, and I can only imagine how much peace that brings. It’s so true-decluttering not only makes things easier for loved ones, but also brings a sense of calm and clarity while we’re still here to enjoy it. I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s health issues. I understand how difficult it can be to have so much responsibility and feel like you are doing it all on your own. Your strength, faith, and positive attitude are truly inspiring, and I’m glad the video resonated with you. Sending you my best!

Your video came up on my feed as I was searching earlier on how to pull out my stove. Thanks for showing how to remove your stove. Mine is electric. I have never pulled it out since we moved into our home 9 years ago. Yeah, I know its an older stove and I guess I didn’t want to see behind it. We had 3 mice that came out from under the stove so now I need to see how they are getting in. I would recommend the fill the holes I saw in your wall with mesh wire I use a copper mesh wire I purchased on Amazon to prevent pests from getting inside your house. The mice issue has given me anxiety. We live in an older home and last year we had a mouse problem. I have a vegetable and tropical fruit garden which I didn't know when I started my garden that I would end up with mice and other critters I never had before the garden. I love my garden and I'm 3 years into it now for me to give it up. I wish other gardeners and homesteaders would talk about their pest problems more to warn beginner gardeners of what happens when you put in a vegetable garden. Thanks for making this look so easy. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing your story and for the tip about using copper mesh wire! That’s such a great idea-I’m definitely going to look into that. I can totally understand the anxiety mice can cause, especially when you’re trying to keep your home clean and safe. It’s tough, especially with an older home and a garden that attracts critters. It’s amazing that you’ve kept up with your garden for three years, despite the challenges, and I agree-it would be so helpful if more gardeners talked about pest issues openly. I’m glad the video helped, and I hope you’re able to figure out how they’re getting in. Thanks again for watching! 😊

I pulled mines out. Now I can seem to get it to go all the way back in
@tenminutetasks
@tenminutetasks 3 ай бұрын
It can be tricky getting the stove back into place after pulling it out. One thing you could check is if the gas line or any wires are getting in the way. Sometimes they can get caught or bunched up, preventing the stove from sliding back all the way. Also, make sure that the legs or wheels on the stove are aligned properly with the floor. If that doesn’t work, you may want to gently move it side to side while pushing to help it slide back in. Hope this helps, and good luck!

I am scared I’ll break a gas line or something 😂
@tenminutetasks
@tenminutetasks 3 ай бұрын
I know the feeling! I was totally scared and tried watching videos and reading things to figure it out and I finally took the leap of faith. Now I can pull it out with confidence after doing it every year. As long as you move it slowly and carefully, you should be fine. Just take your time, and if you can, check to make sure the gas line has enough slack and isn’t being pulled too tightly. If you’re really concerned, it might be worth turning off the gas supply just to be safe while you clean. You've got this! 😊

Great video idea but pls don’t use bleach in cotton bedding. It will actually do the opposite over the longterm and slowly damage the integrity of the material. ✌️
@tenminutetasks
@tenminutetasks 3 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right-bleach can break down fabric over time. For me, it's a go-to for tough stains and sanitizing, even though I know it can weaken the material. I’ve found that my organic cotton sheets handle bleach much better than my regular cotton ones, lasting longer despite the use. It’s a balance, but definitely something to keep in mind! ✌️

Hi, love your video. I subscribe and like 👍 Can the Sal’s suds be used on stone countertops? Or will it leave stains?
@tenminutetasks
@tenminutetasks 4 ай бұрын
Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds is a powerful, biodegradable cleaner, but it may be too harsh for natural stone countertops, such as granite or marble. The high concentration of surfactants can strip the sealant on stone surfaces, making them more susceptible to staining and damage. Instead, you can use a natural stone cleaner or a mild solution of dish soap and water. For a more natural option, you can mix equal parts water and white vinegar with a few drops of a mild essential oil (like lavender or tea tree) for scent. However, be cautious with vinegar on marble or other calcareous stones, as the acidity can cause etching. If your countertops are marble or limestone, it's best to stick with just mild dish soap and water or a specially formulated stone cleaner.

I'd recommend taping a part of it to the wall with painter's tape and pushing the fridge back slowly. That way it'll curl the way you want it with less of a bend. I hope that helps!
