@@DB-dw7zx it’s built for MX motors, both 2 stroke and 4 stroke. You don’t want to put a larger engine on it other than those. Thanks for demonstrating the PROPER method for bleeding the inner cartridge. Everyone else just fills it to 150mm below the top cap, slams the base valve assembly in and cycles the damper rod. They wrongly think hearing a little air escape and seeing the rod extend on its own means all air is out of the chamber. That method will leave a lot of air still in the chamber! The method you showed, while a lit messier, is the only way to bleed it properly. I usually take a bit more time and work even slower to ensure all air is removed.

Hi Dan!! I have 07 yz250f and is the exact forks in video. I’ve watched many videos to compare and catch consistency in the process, your video was definitely clear and simple I love the most how you didn’t go overboard with your explaining and talking you stayed on track lol definitely made it easier to watch. So I was going through the process and I’m having issues keeping compression on my innertube compression chamber when I disassembled the forks from the outer tube and replace the seals. I went to check the compression and they had lost compression so I took them apart re-oiled them, and attempted this with your video, as soon as I feel that I have compression and threaded in and then go to test it. It seems to lose compression and then all the oil spill out. I’m at a loss. I feel that it’s not me and that maybe there’s something else wrong I could use your thoughts.
@DanMX2112
@DanMX2112 2 ай бұрын
Sounds like you are not sealing in the inner chamber. The piston in the inner chamber could be blowing by, or you have air in the bleed. Hard to say without actually seeing it and feeling the stroke. Idk man, I wish I could help, but this sounds like an air or sealing area issue.
