Hey bro just replaced the shift mech on a 11 150 sx same bottom ends, ( due to false neutrals ) bench test was perfect first test ride was perfect now I am also find these false neutrals but only between 3-4 4-5 and vis versa 4-3 5-4 the shift lever clicks and moves as expected but if held up while in the false neutrals I can feel it notch / move a bit more and then it drops into gear and is sweet this issue seems more so when the bike isn’t under load and being gentle with everything being a big rough all works as it should? Any ideas I am going to strip again and bench test from the drum out testing each component after re fitting but seems super strange to me the bike will shift and still hit said false neutrals even shifting without the clutch so not related to clutch at all it’ll stay in gear and ride through to the end of the gears in each gear no skipping jumping or anything unwanted just doesn’t like selecting the gears above 3rd really?
@DanMX211223 күн бұрын
Sounds to me like it’s internal with the gears in the actual transmission. If the shift mech works ok, it’s time to do a teardown of the bottom end to verify,

@@DB-dw7zx it’s built for MX motors, both 2 stroke and 4 stroke. You don’t want to put a larger engine on it other than those.
