Had the honour of opening for Rare Earth for 2 whole weeks in Calgary in '82! It was amazing. Peter hasn't changed his level of singing still. And how he still gives 100% on the kit and vocally. He inspired me to sing and now I have been a singing drummer too for many years. Thanks Peter!

Isn't he something? I had the great pleasure to be the band leader on his last major label album, Sometimes A Rose for Sony Records. It was the thrill of a lifetime for all of us who played on the project. He's simply the best.

He is so cool, he still can sing like he did in a past, not like most of them who have to rearrange their songs because they can't hit some notes... awesome and still sexy!!

Wow, that same voice at 81 years of age! Mr. Price has the most underrated voice of any genre of music; I like Sinatra, but love Mr. Price. What a soaring instrument God gave him. Stunning, especially the so called Nashville and gospel years, pure perfection personified. I'd die happier just to back him on drums 1 time, especially the wonderful 'I Won't Mention it Again".

Absolutely one of the best. His age has not slowed him down one bit. His voice is as good as ever. God Bless you Ray Price!

My favorite Ray Price memory is the conversation I had with him at the Red Earth Festival in Oklahoma City in June 1995. He was Grand Marshall that year at one of the largest Native American gatherings in the country. He and I have many mutual friends both in and out of the music business and we talked for over an hour about life, music and friends. For that hour Ray Price was not a Superstar member of the Hall of Fame; he was a proud and humble Cherokee that had been given the gift of music.

WOW! Does that bring back memories Pete! And it's obvious you are never going to fade, fade, fade.....Still sounds like the old days. We had the incredible opportunity to open for Rare Earth back in the early 80's at The Ranchmans in Calgary.

No tellin' how many times I "polished a buckle" to the music of Ray and The Cherokee Cowboys (live back then - $3.00 admission). He was/is the best. Saw two live performances of his with friends I lost way too early. He's still the greatest.

Are there still men around that believe in God, the American Flag, standing up for what they believe in,moral fortitude and treating women, babies and old women like they are more precious than diamonds or gold? Just wondering....They seem to be a lot less now a days, what happened?

The man has some sweet pipes to be sure, and he still kicks the s&@$ out of the skins too. Couldn't agree with you guys more on there being no RE without "the voice". Same with Chicago, Guess Who and other classic bands who had bass players with good lawyers who registered the band name before the other guys found out about it. Keep rockin' Pete...you still the man!

Hey! The show clips of Mark in red was shot in Youngstown, Ohio! I was there! It was a FANTASTIC Night! These guys are really a great band together! Their eN'rGy just surrounds you like a Grand Funk sound wall from the70's. The meet and greet after the show was cool too! If these musicians come anywhere near you during the touring schedule...Don't miss the FUN Funk!

Pete sounds as good as he did in 71, but his band is quite ordinary. The bass player is really very, very mediocre. Ouch!! At any rate I'm happy for Pete Rivera. He sounds great.
