When you start a new piece or open a piece, it opens in a new tab. You can drag the tab (the bit that has the filename in it) to split the windows. E.g. drag it to the right of your current window to get 2 horizontal windows, or the bottom for 2 vertical windows. You can have as many windows as you like!

Progress is going well, but there's a long way to go on Memora Wanderer! I've been doing a lot of business stuff recently, like setting up a studio, hiring, plans, market analysis, finding funding options etc. As Memora is an RPG with 2-3 years left in development, I'm considering all options to get it completed. It's made me consider releasing a smaller game first. I don't know how much it might help with regards to cashflow on it's own though. But some routes like grants and publishers might become available.

@@Maytch Have you thought of Kickstarter? The game looks very promising so far.

@@sanjiyoung1433 Yep it's definitely on the list to consider! I'll have to grow massively first for a chance to at a decent amount of funding from there, but maybe in a 1-2 years time it'd be worth it.

Yes, every day for years! It's frustrating when the thing you picture in your head doesn't materialize in front of you, or when you're not sure what to make and the thing you spent time on comes out bad. It has to be something you force yourself to do at times, and try to find fun ways of doing it and keep doing it. The same probably goes for all forms of art. So it's good to have a big project or two you're passionate about, but not be afraid to put them to the side or start again on, alongside microprojects like Pixel Dailies (x.com/Pixel_Dailies) where you have daily challenges that you can try to do a few times a week, take part in mini pixel art collaborations or competitions on discords, take part in gamejams or minigames to push yourself on delivering art (but start SMALL!). And for that big thing you want to do, break it right down into a small element you can try. Then walk away from it at times and come back to it. Also once you build up the habit, be sure you don't stop. Like how Duolingo pesters everyone when they skip a day. It'll feel like the world is trying to break your streak of doing some every day.
