Mark Lawrenson was a donkey in my opinion - without Alan Hansen he was a headless chicken - should have given away a penalty in the 0-2 loss to Everton in 85-86 season with a foul on Alan Harper - but they lost anyway.

Clive Allen scored virtually every time against Arsenal but often finished on the losing side of that Spurs team at the time.

How can Gallagher - the Utd player - be offside when he's standing right next to a St Mirren player, and there's another St Mirren player on the touchline? 1:51

Great memories as a United fan even though we lost,we were getting to finals or having decent cup runs for a good few years, was always a joy to watch davie cooper,a big loss to Scottish football, their will never be a left footed player like him.

That pitch is shocking for a professional match and the floodlights look like they're being powered by disposable batteries. Such was 80's football 😂 France had lost a lot of their key players from recent World Cups. They didn't qualify for Euro 88 and were crap in 1992. They were in the wilderness for about 12 years post Mexico 86. That's not to take anything away from Scotland as they were a good side but helped here by the shocking state of the pitch and France being a shadow of their former selves.

Keane pretending he was hard, Beckham being a grinning gormless big girls blouse. They won the lot but oh dear!!!!! Don't know how people call McAteer thick, at least he can string a sentence together unlike Becks!

The Loco Bellamy the British player with the most balls of all time, my apologies to Ian Rush who is a legend of world football and Giggs who is always very overrated for playing in the best United teams in its history.

this was one of the games that Scotland should’ve won. i really believe World Cup 2002 was Scotland best chance of making history by getting into second round for the first time, but even after another early exit in euro 2024. i know one day Scotland will make it past the group phase keep believing👍

@@FOUDEFOOT85 Maybe not if Scotland beat Belgium in this game, it could’ve been a different story? So Scotland might’ve won the Group to avoid Czech-Republic. this 2-2 draw against Belgium is what really costs Scotland a chance to qualify for the World Cup 2002.

Both Ireland and Scotland national teams were mostly getting positive reactions by Bulgarian fans. Even the Bulgarian commentator of this match after the final whistle congratulated the Scots for the deserved win and wished Ireland luck in the Euros. Even to this day Scotland and Ireland are rather sympathetic teams to most Bulgarians. Reading all the hateful and genuinely anti-bulgarian comments here is hilarious :) But I guess it's the normal attitude from UK people towards Eastern Europe in general. Probably part of the cold war propaganda, which was seemingly more negative in the West than it was in the East.
