This is such an great and memorable scene and has been for 20 years. Now last Christmas in 2023, people are all of a sudden complaining saying that it's offensive! I am SO TIRED of PC culture and people complaining about things in the media being offensive even if they're just a little offensive! So many things and even celebrities get canceled over people complaining about something being offensive! Family Guy sometimes makes fun of my disability and I find it personally offensive, but you don't see me complaining about it and trying to get it canceled! People just REALLY need to GET OVER IT! This scene was also just Buddy not meaning to be rude since he thought he was actually an elf since he was raised at the North Pole and hasn't seen little people in New York before! If he knew he wasn't actually an elf he would have been a lot more understanding I feel. The scene was really well written and a really creative idea, but people always complain about anything remotely offensive now!
