You owe them nothing! You owe yourself to stick around. You deserve better than them. My dad is narcissistic, which is bad enough. He acts entitled to abuse and blame me for abusing me. I have had more than enough of his crap. I have nil to no-contact with with him for my own protection. I deserve better than him for a father. I will ignore his patheitic pleas for attention. He expects me to lie, to tell people that he does nice things for me on a weekly basis. Not true. I won't lie to myslelf or others so he can feel superior. He's not worth the trouble he causes me. I am doing well and plan to continue that. I understand how you feel. Dad is sadistic to me, and proud of that. He can't stand complaints, he invalidates/ignores what I say to fit his delusional thinking. He's not worth my time! I am not a 24/7 ATM, either. He'll get what he gave me,nothing! I won't take of him when he's older, he couldn't be bothered with me, too bad for him. The emotional ATM is permanently down, too. I owe him nothing, he will get nothing. We deserve better parents! He thinks that putting me down makes me tough, just the opposite, I won't tell him that, he would enjoy that. It won't happen! My mom is excellent, she tries to make up for his nastiness by being very supportive. Good for her. He deserves no pity from he, he won't get it. He has 0 empathy and sympathy for anyone other than himself. He's a tyrant, too. He thinks he's perfect, so he nitpicked at me for my last two birtdhays. What a jerk of a father! He hates women, too. What a jerkwad! I have complained to him, and turns it on me(the blame): projection. His reply "tough shit." What an asshole!

Dad can't be bothered with me(hardly), so I won't contact him. His loss! (I don't give him narcissistic supply!)

Thank you for sharing your story, I understand where your coming from, you must not let them mess with your mind or else they will play you like a toy. Also it's time to ignore that person and never let them get under your skin. Just give them silence and don't let them love bomb you and try to get you back into this chaos of gaslighting again

Same here, dad is narcissistic, he hates women, and is sadistic. He acts entitled to tear me down and he the nerve to tell me I have no right to say no to him or any other male. He's delusional.. No more, I gave up on him. Only his rules, his time/his convenience. matters to him. I don't stand a chance of mattering to him. He's egotistical He's pathetic. I deserve better! I complained(reasonable complaints), his reply was "tough shit". Ow. What an asshole for a father! He mistakenly thinks that ripping me apart makes me stronger, he 's wrong. Very wrong! That I should be grateful to him, what a jerk!

I also believe if the narcissist continues to persist in their wrong doings or abusive traits then its best to leave that relationship that's how you stop it. or sometimes when there left alone they could eventually realize who they are and maybe snap out of it

seek a support group in your area and just ignore the person in the meantime dont let him get to you just think about something else you have the power just tap into it and connect with god
