I think it may have been. It happened very quickly, but I watched it slowed down & had body shape of a carp. I was throwing a buzzbait so really no chance of him biting 😅

These are garbage. KastKing sends me 4-5 items a year to "review". As @Allyourbase1990 said, it will lock the weight before you even get a chance to hold the fish up to weigh it. I notified them and told them that I couldn't leave a positive review. I still got to keep them and was reimbursed for buying them. I just gave them to my neighbor. Take any positive review for KastKing products, with a HUGE GRAIN of salt.

Thanx for watching & commenting. Funny you should say that. Was talking with my friend Ray & told him that's one goal I have for this year. Unfortunately to fish for snakeheads from my yak I need to drive some distance to get to water that has them & allows launches. Secondly, I want to buy a heavy duty flyrod this summer & catch one on that using a fly Ray has tied. We'll see if either goal is accomplished 🎣

Great video my friend ! Yeah Blair gave you 11 inches and 10 inches to myself. Everything is frozen here and as I type another 3inches or so has fallen today . Looks like maybe March for me to get back out because ice fishing is not something my old behind enjoys doing. As always be safe !

Hey Chris, I used to fish no matter what-rain,sleet or snow. I guess I’m getting soft in my old age, sitting here by the fire waiting on warmer weather watching videos to pass the time. Too many more days of this though and I’m going to have to bundle up and head to the pond. I’m getting the urge for a tug on my line! 🎣

Thanx for watching & commenting. I used to fish no matter the weather cuz I only had weekends. Since I retired & can fish any day, I've become a fair weather fisherman. I would fish the ponds here but they are all covered with thin ice. Imagine where you live, your pond isn't frozen...I'd go fish it on a nicer day

Thanx for watching & commenting. With a few tools, it wasn't a bad change out if you can reuse pipe before & after muffler. If not, Amazon had those parts fairly cheap also. Put mine on a yr & a half ago, no problems yet.

Good bluegills! It's hard to fish that mucky stuff when it's cold cause they don't seem to wanna hit topwater as good. Maybe you'll get some cats next time!

Thanx for watching & commenting. Yeh, topwater bite here goes away after summer. Local tackle shop where I used to buy bait went out of business 😣. Other sports store had no dead, frozen fish. Probably should have kept a bluegill to freeze for bait later

Man it was 68 here in texas on christmas day! Thunderstorms like crazy today. Leaves didnt fall of the trees until about 2-3 weeks ago. Sure would have been nice to have some cold weather through deer season!
