I'd kill for a 17" bass! Nice my friend. Have you ever thrown a whopper plopper? I have several but have never thrown a buzz bait. maybe I should 😊

Thanx for watching & commenting. I have a few whopper ploppers but have not had any luck with them. That pond has produced an 18.5 incher, two 17 inchers & two 16 inchers so far. Some caught on buzzbaits, some on Rapala floater/diver & some on whacky rig. Anything over 14" is a nice bass to me🎣

You need to try that Crock o gator Headknocker. Buzzbait. It smashes them.

I've noticed with buzzbaits a lot of times the big ones just suck it under with hardly any disturbance on the top of the water and the little ones go crazy on it. That had to be a big bullfrog that jumped in the water it happens to me all the time

Thanx for watching & commenting. I've noticed that also with buzzbaits, snakeheads don't hit hard, but after you set the hook, they go psycho. That had to be a huge bullfrog, it was a big splash...only half of it came out on camera. Has happened 3 times...startled the crap out of me all 3 times 🤣
