This was BEYOND visually stunning to watch, and I really enjoyed the songs "Beyond" and "Get Lost." But unfortunately, the rest of the songs, story, and supporting characters didn't do it for me. I am intrigued to see what they do considering that mid-credit scene. It was definitely giving the same vibes from the first Avengers post-credit scene. 😏😏😏

I definitely agree with you bro. On your negatives, this movie was way too much over stuffed and the villain was very lacklustre. I have to say I also thought the comedy was absolutely terrible and unfortunately this will be forgettable. However, like yourself, I did find myself enjoying certain action sequences particularly the final fight and the water scene. Also, happy six years on KZbin :-)

I was a Teen when even I knew OF HER because of the Love Triangle between her, Jackie Kennedy (Mrs. John F Kennedy) and Aristotle Onasis and they were in the Gossip Columns, Newspapers and even TV News. Maria Calas was also interviewed by the world's top journalist. Even 60 Minutes did a piece on her. She transcended the world of Opera. I read articles about her life later on that her Voice probably started to Weaken and then Fail because of Extreme Weight Loss Regiments. She was very very heavy when she started to get famous and suddenly she did a Full Transformation into a Very Slim Glamorous Fashion Icon.

I think this is a movie that’s hard to enjoy fully if you’re not in the job. And even harder to appreciate if you’re not working in a big city. Those of us who have lived this tend to love it, or at least have some fondness for the movie. I saw a lot of callouts about how blatantly outlandish it was on rotten tomatoes and the like, and I was like “dang. I thought it was kind of miserably grounded.” If anything there’s too little escapism. There’s no fun to be had here. Before watching the movie, maybe a couple months before, I’d just had a convo with my partner about how some medics probably had some unprosecuted murders in the form of withholding treatment for people they deemed unworthy. There are some serious assholes who love to talk about that stuff like they’re big vigilantes. I think it’s crazy the movie used the drug dealer as an example because the drug user/dealer is a classic example I see people talk about irl. This is a real thing people talk about. I don’t know how often they do it. But they love to talk about it.

On the stage, there is a willing suspension of disbelief from the audience, allowing for little or no sets, larger acting techniques, and advancing plot using staging devices or forced narrative....all of which don't work in movies. So the movie had to go at a different pace that allowed more time to get to know the characters, set the mood of each scene, and give the film a chance to breathe and not seem rushed.
