Writing from India, I am a new subscriber to your channel. I must admit that my decision to subscribe was motivated by your very frank and honest review of Shyamalan's "Trap". This is your first review that I've watched and I want to thank you for the disarming candour with which you've made it so easy to understand both the film's nuances and its lack of the same. Being a Shyamalan fan like you, I was in two minds whether the film's worth watching in the theatre, after reading the rather lukewarm response of the Indian press to the film. I quite enjoyed it! I thought it was entertaining and fun! I found that there was a lot of comedy in the film which I wasn't expecting but I really liked it in the end :)

Unbreakable, Signs, and The Sixth Sense were some of his best works and he did have a nice run after The Last Airbender and After Earth bombed. Hopefully, he'll bounce back after some setbacks recently. 🤞

I was engaged the entire time. There were a few scenes I would have removed, like the mom of the other girls. Lol! Cringe. Overall it was good! Nice review!

Yeah I don’t think it was wise to reveal the killer so soon. Once it hit the limo scene it went off the rails. I agree about saleka and her acting. I’d rather watch twisters again over this if I had a choice as I gave them both the same score.

@@RavensOsFan89 I definitely liked Twisters more than this, but I actually liked that the premise was about the killer getting away. I didn’t mind knowing the killer right from the start.

Good review bro. This movie was mid to me. Loved Josh though the concert stuff was my fav.

Josh Hartnett was definitely the standout here! His performance was the main thing keeping me invested. I'm not mad at what MNS were trying to do with post-concert, but everything went downhill for me as that happened. Sakela definitely had some bops as far as the music, but the acting? The phone and car scene was a NO for me.

First half of the movie was pretty cool but gawwwwd the second they leave the concert it goes down hill with all the moronic choices everyone starts making lol
