Just discovered your channel. Great video, I cannot wait to check out the rest. I subbed, I do hope you make more. I love that you pull into the little stops and look around a bit. I was like a fat kid window shopping a candy store with the mines. Thank you for that.

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was wondering if I should include little stops and looking around the sights in the videos. Thanks for the feedback.

@@TheScenicWay for me that is a resounding yes. I would even love a fast shot on location info plaques. So I can travel vicariously through you. I love pausing and reading about the area info. But I also understand if that is not your thing. Regardless, I love the videos I have seen so far. Thank you for sharing.

They do indeed work there. It's not remote, it just seems it.

Strange. Some of your videos are full screen on my tv. This one is in a smaller box maybe 2 inches of black screen around it on four sides.Mammoth lakes full screen. Alabama hills is in a box, and Portland is in a box.

That is odd. Can you adjust the resolution in your settings? Sometimes it doesn't instantly play at it's full potential for some reason. I am able to play them all in 4k, even under a different account. Let me know what you find.

I think I've found the reason. The videos are getting processed to different sizes, I'm not sure why, but I can now keep an eye on the pixel ratio to ensure uniformity. Thank you for pointing this out. I'm new to all this so I'm on a bit of a crash course of learning filming, editing and youtube. I hope you enjoyed the video all the same. Thanks.

Hi. It's a DJI action cam, but the look comes from spending hours editing.

It does! It's kind of bizarre. I like that you can see the different aged mountains. The jagged new ones at the back and the old weathered rounded ones of Alabama Hills.

It was the scene of many Hollywood movies. There was a quick scene in the movie Gladiator filmed here. Look for the scene where Maximus is riding back to save his family. You will see these mountains in the background.

IMO I wouldn't say that's scenic except for the snow capped mountains: by definition the natural scenery has to be beautiful or impressive.
