Hi. Does the ballhead clamp allow attachment of the f38 base plate? Looking to convert the tripod into a f38 QR tripod without paying crazy amount for the Zero Y tripod.

Did atleast one of your wheel pulley/belts start creaking or making noise after the first ride?

How long does it take you to charge? Do the plastic rims creak?

Why not keep it set to 110v instead of 240v?

The Exway Wave performs great, but in truth it sucks. It costs around $700, but if the battery breaks it costs $350 to replace ($50 for shipping). The warranty is only 6 months, and my battery failed after 11 months. So the real cost of the board after 11 months is over $1k. That puts it in the same price range as the Evolve Stoke. I had an Evolve Stoke and it was stolen. I was trying to save money, so I got the Exway Wave. Knowing what I know now, I regret not just buying another Evolve Stoke. The Stoke is a little longer and heavier, but it's way more stable at high speeds, and is a far better board. Plus the stock wheels are crap and if you want to replace them with softer wheels, that will set you back another $200 for the Cloudwheels. Again, you can get much better wheels and have a choice with the Evolve Stoke, and that's built into the initial price. So overall, you pay more for an inferior board with the Exway Wave.

attention, after the first charge it happened that the board did not turn on, if this ever happens to you, unplug and plug in the yellow cable for a minute and then it will work. I suspect the cable from the source.

Atlas 2WD on sale now for $934, would it be a good choice as my first electric board? I do have few years of experience with kicktail skateboard. My area have horrible roads and sidewalks, so I'm more interested in all terrain boards.

good video, one tip, there is a FLAT on the tripod screw, this is NOT an ordinary slot, But a 10 cent coin from your wallet will fit it!! so, as you are using a featherweight setup (phone, NOT a micro 4/3rds or mirrorless DSLR), then this level of tightness is fine, so the coin does work, in a pinch.

Is this a good first beginner esk8? I owned a onewheel pint sold it, then i bought a onewheel xr. After a few months i sold the onewheel xr, then bought a onewheel pint x. I got bored on a onewheel pint x, then bought an exway wave riot version. I was thinking of buying the exway flex, but i bought the exway wave instead. Nice video by the way.

Hello Ernest, I have ordered the 2WD Atlas AT version and have a few questions you may be able to answer. I think this version comes with 56T pulleys, do you think one can order 66T and belts for more torque and less speed? Also, you mentioned that the wheels me a bit bigger than 6 inch. I have Evolves 6 inch and I think they are a perfect size for AT, could one put them on the Atlas either just the wheels and tubes on the Exway rim or the whole wheel? Not sure if AT wheels are generic in terms of spokes and rims. Thanks

At what speed did the board begin to wobble? Do you think it would be unsafe for a beginner to ride 20 MPH on this board?

Hello Ernest, do you think motor overheating will be problem with this board? I do not goo off road, some hills and like to accelerate. Do you think the torque of the 2WD is acceptable? I think 4WD has many draw backs. One thing I do not like about many other boards is they do not sell pulleys for Abec wheels and only have cloud wheels as option for street wheels. Thank you

Just a quick correction, the bubble level I am using is $1.25 for a pack of 4, not $10. I need more coffee..... The tripod by itself is called the MT-28. It's when the tripod is combined with the ballhead that it is now the MT-29.
