Great video! I have the original set for my Komodo and definitely want to pick up the last two soon!

They’re great lenses, but the snipers are better.

Every Shilltuber Copy/Paste statement that thinks automatically gives them the free pass: "This video is not sponsored. *insert company name* sent me this lens, BUT they do not get any input on this video. I get to keep the product but no money was exchanged." When in Reality it makes you look even more like a Shill and someone we automatically will not trust. It is a sponsored video for if Sirui did not send you the product, you would not be making this video in the first place... First video of You that YT recommended me and Extremely bad start that won't keep me here.

Right?? If it was such a "good lens", why not use it for everything? Cause it ain't that great...
@ИвановАртем-р4л18 сағат бұрын
Yeah-yeah, sirui don’t have any input in what you’re going to say, they just won't send you anything next time if you give a bad review. Stop treating viewers like idiots
@edwardcrockett16 сағат бұрын
I’m sorry that you felt the need to say that. I don’t want anyone to feel like an idiot. Honestly I finished the video saying I’d pick the other lens instead so I don’t know if that counts as a bad review but that was my final verdict. In my opinion that isn’t a positive review but I think the most important thing is that the review is honest and that’s all I can do. Idc if they send me anything else honestly 🤷🏼♂️

Hey Ivanov Artem. Stop including ‘viewers’ in your personal opinion. As a russian you shouldn’t worry too much about integrity given that your country is led by a gangster fascist ‘president’ and the rest of you support the military invasion of your neighbor and constantly spreading your lies and disinformation across social media. Now you are suddenly with integrity? I didn’t know you understood the difference between lies and honest truth. First time I ever heard a russian raise the subject.

I had more chromatic aberrations and fringing on my sigma 35mm than this lens tbh 🫶

I have a Sony ZV-1, trying to film log and then colour grading with cineprint16 just looks poor, not sure if it’s just the camera or settings I’m missing ?
@DIRECTEDBYH26 күн бұрын
maybe there is a better setting, I am not sure which settings there are on the ZV-1 but make sure you use 10 bit at least and the format with the most amount of data (usually it says how many mbps it needs on a card to write)

I’ve been with sony for the past year as my first camera brand. Recently using the a6400 but wanted an upgrade. The sx20 and its ability to shoot with those film recipes has sold me completely so I made the switch. Waiting for it to arrive but I can’t wait

Interesting experiment, definitely loved the cargo strap idea, but if you're on public transport - that's too much stuff. If you're in a car, this will be tricky to get in/out, so a bigger case or a combination of case and tripod bag would be better. I like a combo of the small peli and a big tripod travel cases, you can put tons of stuff in there besides the tripod. Anyway, cool video, made me think, keep 'em coming! Where do you get the music for these edits from? Always nice tracks, not too distracting, but also not boring, etc.

I am blind in one eye because of a bungee cord mishap-don't be like Tom, use static straps.
@edwardcrockettАй бұрын
Oh gosh! Yeah I wear glasses but that was definitely on my mind when I was stretching those things 😅
@thomastwigg3535Ай бұрын
@@edwardcrockett I was wearing glassed too, the lens shattered and a fragment ended up in my eye too (not discovered in the initial reconstruction and caused a hemorrhage a year later-more painful than the accident itself), so lesson #2, make sure your lenses are polycarbonate. 8 surgeries (including 3 failed cornea transplants) later I am still blind in that eye.

I'm a fan of the doctor bag or tool bag approach, take the whole camera package assembled as ready as possible (minus battery or mic if needed) and just pull out. If you value speed over anything else this is the way.
@edwardcrockettАй бұрын
Yeah that’s definitely a great option! The only downside I’ve ran into with that is that when you pack those bags down they can get insanely heavy and I like being able to wheel it around ya know?
@tylergoodwin__Ай бұрын
I’m honestly just really stoked you fit as many stands as you did on the outside of the case. I don’t know how I’ve never thought of that 😭

@scottsfilmgrainАй бұрын
i knew 6 seconds in that all of that was not going to fit in the case lol It's a good experiment though, but if i ever have to bring that much gear (i haven't yet) i think i'd just get a cart that fits in my car, and fit gear into camera and tote bags to easily move from car to cart and back.

I need to do my flight case video. I can get three stands, light diffusion, two lights, audio rig, and extension cables, while keeping my camera/lens in a backpack, on me at all times.
@DanielEarlАй бұрын
May i suggest carbon fiber reverse folding light stands? Theyre pretty light and they fold down more compactoy than traditional light stands.
@edwardcrockettАй бұрын
That’s a great idea! I’ll look into them!
@SinisterbvnnyАй бұрын
i say just get another smaller case for the extra stuff like the cables and whatnot - i dont want to be fumbling with all the extra heavy stuff hanging on the outside
