Break loose the 17mm nut on the backside of the brake booster rod clevis before removing the pin that connects it to the brake pedal. Just break it loose and leave it against the backside of the clevis. No need to disconnect the 3 wire harnesses on the black box. Just take out the bracket screw and slide the bracket off of the black box. Then move the black box above the steering column towards the firewall and wedge it up there out of your way. I'm curious why that would be radioactive. Did it have a glow in the dark dial like the clock did, was it exposed to radiation in the war, or something else?

They used radium infused paint to make them glow in the dark.

I know. I used to keep my GMC-320S in my cellphone pocket. Now I have to remove my house keys at the car and put the GMC-600+ in my front pocket. LOL!!!

Well, I did buy this one, but no, the items I take videos of are in Antique shops or thrift stores.. I take my wife to antique shops and while she looks for things she likes, I love to look for radioactive items to pass the time. Once in a while if it's interesting, I buy one for my collection.

Great video! Tip..slightly file down the angle on the blower motor so it twists into place easily (the Amazon replacement was off slightly about a 1/4 inch from the screw hole. It was the most exasperating part of the procedure. Also I left the plug-ins on the computer and shoved it into the firewall. Completed in about 3 hrs. Thanks again!

Only counts per minute doesnt say alot. Probably most of it can be shielded of with a piece of paper.

After putting it all back together my acceleration was a little rough and I realized my brake lights are permanently on. Do I need to adjust the brake pedal now? How much does that cost? (Great video btw)
