I like how Ghaffari never backed down or showed fear to Karelin even though this guy was a monster. Instead, he made it his life's mission to take him down. (That never happened though).

Great to see the gut wrench by Vering! I always wondered why its only Greko guys who do those. They are perfectly legal in freestyle & this league. And well worth the points if u can pull it off.

@8:43 its not just great defense. Part of the reason they wear a singlet in Freestyle & Folkstyle is to absorb the sweat. Hard to do these moves when ur opponent is sweaty.

I’ve watched a lot of pro wrestling in my life and this is clearly not actual pro wrestling. Where are the tables and chairs? Why aren’t there any ropes to bounce off and do high flying moves? Why didn’t the coaches get involved to try and help? I don’t even know why these guys hate each other? Would it kill them to give these guys a mic so we can find out what their beef is? None of them have any cool finishers either. Honestly, this doesn’t feel believable at all.
