But let’s be honest-this is often twisted into outright spiritual abuse. It’s no wonder many people avoid church when the “open arms” and friendly smiles are just a mask for judgment, hypocrisy, and cruelty-sins the church seems to ignore in itself. Public shaming is not correction; it’s humiliation, and the whole church needs to repent for such toxic behavior. God have mercy on them, because they clearly don’t understand the damage they’re causing to her. I really hope the girl is okay, because this is mentally disturbing and cruel.

Humiliation never works Its the goodness of the Lord that leads to repentance. Also its good to counsel that girl. But no need for public humiliation. So no baby shower better mean the church will be supplying her and the babys needs
