This is definitely true, but I would say I've dated people I thought were out of my league, I guess because at the time I didn't appreciate my own value.

Hi there, thank you for putting this up. I have been living and breathing Shinedown for a while now. 25 years a heroin addict. I am a musician, and intellectual thinker that was woefully unprepared for real consequence. I was also playing clubs at 14. I got married last year to the woman I have been with for 12 years. Before you celebrate, know that now that I am clean, I am not really the same person, and neither is she. We but heads a lot, and now I have met someone that is so compatible that I don't even want to think about it. Songs such as Call me, Daylight, Monsters, are so fucking poignant at the moment.

The sad fact is, atheists like Stephen Fry ignore the 99% of good and beauty we received from God and focus wholly on the 1% of the bad, and most of that bad is from bad people who choose to do bad things. An eternal principle is free agency, otherwise, this life is meaningless, as we have to choose to do good, or bad, to return to God, as every world with humans is governed by the exact same laws.

Trauma stays in a place. I once saw my (now ex) huaband's "ghost" on the road near his home. I didn't know at that point but he had had a motorcycle accident on that spot and had "died" for several minutes. I was taken to the hospital and was revived,, but the trauma of the accident and nearly dying was IMPRINTED on that spot. It's why people see things on the battlefield at Gettysburg, and why homes will sometimes have cupboards closing, doors slamming etc. People are electricity, minerals and water. Like a battery. We leave energy imprints on the places that impact us.

Tammy, YAHOVAH responds to faith, no matter what religion one is apart of. GOD is good! Consider this GOD is seeking for those who love truth ; to worship Him in spirit and truth. Consider Deuteronomy 18:18 &:15. Hebrews 4:15 James1:13-:14. Mathew 11:11. The new birth John3:3-:12 earthly not heavenly, done while we are here in this life. How……1John3:3. Regarding the emotional residue, for most of us (while we're alive) this residue stays in the body (subconscious) and becomes a pattern of behavior that can be triggered over and over until we are ready and/or have the skills to fully process and resolve it. Its so cool to think it can be left somewhere instead of manifesting in the body as a mental health issue or disease later on, or only after we die.

The Americans who led during World War II (people such as George Marshall, Eisenhower, and Roosevelt) integrated the "right-brain" Gestalt wisdom view with analytical left-brain decomposition, planning, and analysis. The analytics were always at the service of the large wisdom-level view. The onward march of analytics and the defeat and rejection of the wisdom view may have started in the Korean War, but it was tragically and definitively victorious during the Vietnam War with the ascent or Robert McNamara, the the Secretary of Defense under Kennedy and Johnson. The results were of course catastrophic, and they continue to redound to this day. I proudly brandish my conservative anti-trumper card, and have continued to grapple with how on earth we Americans did what we did when we elected that man for the second time. A possible explanation is that Americans in their collective unconscious wisdom are grasping for an unspoken something, trying to struggle free of the stranglehold of left-brain reductive analytical thinking that has conquered and now rules within the halls of power of this country.

I have seen two ghosts perhaps three and experienced others in the form of altered handwriting or presences felt--but what they are or how they manifest themselves to any individual I have no idea. They were all benign except for one presence which scared the bejeezus out of me at the time, as I was enveloped in it and it was cold and very uncomfortable. But then, I think many people are subjected to them but never notice it.

Not so much a premonition, but a wish across time. The priest was so distraught and wished so badly that he could take it all back. The he could go back in time and make it so it never happened, that a part of his soul actually was trapped in the past, repeating over and over again the tragedy until it caught up with the day it happened. As if to be finally reconciled in the only way possible. The acceptance that it happened and that you can't go back. Its not the only instance like this. Because thats what ghosts are. They are moments frozen in time, as a result of tremendous emotion and the inability to fully process what is happening. Most often these energies stay within us and become triggers that can get tripped over and over until we are ready to resolve full on what we couldn't the first time. But sometimes, these energies leave us, or stick to places. They are subtle parts of us, that without our knowing or awareness, play on repeat until that time when we call them home, shed the light of awareness on them, allow them to finish and become complete in the present. The human body is not all of what we are. Its is merely the densest part of the soul. So much more of us is subtle and goes unnoticed.

Am i alone in being very pessimistic about status being a primary motivator? Im just saying that if he wanted to counter people arguing that "testosterone makes people bad", saying it makes people more sensitive to and more hyper perceptive to status threats over being empathetic probbaly doesnt look much better.

True. No witty funny pick-up lines needed usually anyway. Just saying “excuse me, hi, I think you’re KINDA cute” would do. Cos saying hi excuse me gets her attention cos you need to get someone’s attention first, before going further no attention equals no communication/avoidance. Give her context like your romantically interested “I think you’re kinda quite will say that for you and saying kind “KINDA” means you’re not fully fooled or sold on her simply cos of her looks/niceness like where’s her other quality like motherhood etc then make statements “this place would be your vibe” not just make serious boring small-talk or interview like questions like “how are you” “the weather” “do you like this or that”. There’s more but ONLY if you guys pay me 😏
