Great video. I’m finishing up the mounts and making sure there’s no vibration, then I’ve gotta replace the manifold (mounts are a common cause for the cracked manifolds). After that I need to diagnose my belt noise and then I’ll have all the annoying noises gone, especially the belt. Strangely enough I’ve been told on the XJ Discord server that the dent in the S pipe is factory, they said it’s to help keep it from hitting the driveshaft. Mine is dented as well about 50% in. The pipes in the AW4 trannies also have faculty dents in them, not sure why but if you watch tranny filter videos a lot of them have that dent job.

Good decision to delete P/S, cruise control, and A/C. If your front tires are properly inflated, and you're not parapeligic, the Civic absolutely does not need P/S, anyway.

That spot on the driver's side, over the rear wheel rots out from the diff venting into the frame. Any condensation (or water) that gets into the diff steams out to that area and rots. Extend the diff vent tube up to the gas filler area.

i like to use the east wood rust inhibitor with the tube and 360 degree nozzle inside the unibody. Then i paint the outside with it as well then usually do a coat of hard bed liner spray from advanced auto if im going for the textured factory look the stuff dries hard and holds up for a long time, if im not going for the factory look. then i just wash the under side after each salt snow and ive never seen any rust come back on anything i fixed i also use that spray galv weld thru primer. Now on like a daily driver id def recommend fluid film but if its something you are guna be welding stuff to and cutting into it alot idk if i would put anything like that on it because you would be constantly trying to clean it all off before welding ect
