In my opinion. It's all about communication between the soon to be married couples and both families. Making our families understand our Financials. That we are not able to do 2 receptions because of this and that. Be cause I understand the ladies part is the most important when it comes to weddings. Or rather opt for a hall as a reception venue. Most of the time is us "nawa days" we want to do what others are doing.

I see where you are coming from. I wish that was the situation with all families, but like I said in the video, I have come across so many people that tried to talk to their families and they do not want to understand and allow them to have one reception.

Finally someone who thinks like me. Imagine spending 200k on booze and rice. 2 weeding gowns for what ? If you save up 200k, spend 80 k and invest the remainder for your household. Who ever is not happy should not come to the weeding, is that simple.

Yes, Maldives ❌ are full of Islamic fundamentalists. They racially discriminate tourists. Please visit Lakshadweep (India) ✅ instead. You will never face racism there and also it's much more clean, beautiful, cheap & affordable, locals are super friendly ✅
