Looked into Ecoflow too, asked their support a few questions, they answered with something unrelated to my question. Going with Deye 16KW Single Phase 230V Hybrid Inverter system and several 51.2V 280AH batteries, 20 600W Trina Vertex panels for now. Deye manufactures Sol-Ark hybrid inverters for USA market. We have very low voltage here, and frequent brownouts, so minimizing grid connection is a must.

I think your issue is "Device Timeout" settings. After 12hrs, if nothing has pulled power from the unit, it shuts itself off based on this setting, which can be disabled. I changed mine to 24hrs and now it doesn't shut off. It can be disabled as well...

They have serious problems with their firmware. We run 2 DP’s, 4 EB’s and 2 smart gens. We are on an old version of the firmware that is working correctly. Version .61

I watched a video about someone used a inverter to take a gas generators a/c power converted it to dc power then plugging it into your solar port charging the Delta Pro at 1600 watts. Good option when there is no sun available I purchased the inverter. It works well. It was only $135. A much better option that eco generators.

Where is the unit when it is being used? If in an unheated area, at minus 20, that's below its operating range and no telling what will happen.......

Have had 3 Delta Pro units and all 3 failed at the solar input. I returned one and that was the 3rd failure. I repaired both myself along with a stern warning from Ecoflow about their warranty. Like these 100 lb devices are easily shipped.

I got one. Did you get it with the Kubota shock ride? I did, but didn't turn it on for a few weeks, I forgot I ordered it. I was bouncing around all over the place. I turned the dial to on outside the cab, and couldn't believe the difference. Great tractor. the way my 84" box scaper was set up, if I'm not careful it will flip up 90 degrees and break the top ram.

Could it be that it sucks for the first minute because you have set the max charge limit to 50%? The input graph seems to suggest that. If you want more solar input you might connect a 12/24/48 V battery to the xt60 input of the EcoFlow and charge that battery with a MPPT controller. In case of 24 or 48 Volt you do want a low voltage protection for the battery to prevent it from discharging to deep. If one of your MPPT is like the Victron 100/20 you can even use it internal settings for the loadport to protect that battery from being discharging to much. I do this alread for my River600 Pro once I started to have higher voltage panels then what that could handle. This setup has the added benifit that you can disconnect the Delta Pro and use it elsewhere and still have a place for the energy generated. And it also allows for low amp charging of the Delta Pro, allowing for longer and thinner cables.

I don't know anything about those log hauling operations but I do know from pulling freight doubles that we always want the lead trailer to be the heavier trailer. It looks like on your combo that it was the rear trailer that was heavier. Can you explain that?

On the Delta 2, i suppose Delta Pro also has this feature called AC always On located in to Lab Feature option. You might wanna try it out. 5:20 And i believe its user fault, you should buy a system which can supply energy to your house with full loads.

It has been set to always on forever. It does not work! It’s a common issue. It supplies plenty of power for a small off grid house just does not charge fast enough with the 1.6kw max input
@JustaCuriousity
@JustaCuriousity Ай бұрын
Its just about wrong calculation. Since you have Ecoflow system i think go for another Delta Pro and 1.6kw panels. so 7.2kwh * 90% efficiency = around 6.5KWH per system. so 2 Delta Pro and 2 extra batteries might fit your need else you ll have to buy another 2-4 smart batteries for cloudy back up. OR sell those for wall mounted hybrid inverter, rack mount batteries and more panels? I tried Growatt SPF5000ES and 2 48V 100Ah batteries in series for a constant load 500 watts, it gives me 12 hours without solar panels.

Did you get paid upfront before the cutting started. I logged ( a one man operation ) and I divided the acreage into small parcels say 1-5. After section 1 was completed I walked the cut with the landowner to make sure he was satisified with it before going to the second section. I also took the owner to see previous cuttings and meet with the landowner's to see if their were any complaints they had. I pulled the entire top out ( hardwood ) and anything less than 3 inches for ( firewood sales ) was either put in controlled burn piles if the space permitted or if not it was ran through a chipper unless the landowner wanted it for himself. As long as you are happy with the results Congrats.

No did not get paid up front, thats not too common around here. I have done a lot of work with them over the past years though. Im quite happy with things. Its hard to drag the oak tops out as they're so wide, but I'll use the all. Not fun trying ot put those small bent up things on the log truck either.

One reason I went with a bigger system, the power stations do not seem to have the charging capabilities for 100 days of clouds. Most advertise 60 amp charge, ok that is 3kw, but they can expand battery to 72kw, nice but charging at 3kw only takes 24hours from 0 to 100 soc. If you plan to expand on a power station, make sure you can charge it in under 5 hours. Any all in one inverter with an 8k PV input and enough panels the generator should collect dust. Even 8k pv in clouds that is closer to 1.6kw or maybe 8kw a day . Past August I knew nothing about solar or wiring, a lot easier that I thought to diy.

Get a basic UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to run your router/internet/wifi. Also, sounds like you have all of your eggs in one basket Having been off grid 24 years we can tell you that's not a good place to be. Build in some redundancy. We have two inverters, 4 charge controllers/arrays, two water pumps, etc.

I do. It only lasts a few hrs after power goes off. You don’t exactly expect and keep checking that the EcoFlow is running as it should. It also doesn’t send notifications that the ac has clicked off so pretty much useless.

I hope no one read my scathing comment on my Delta 2 Max. I made an error ...the thing works fine now. In fact with a bit of sun & haze today & not even close to proper alignment ...I'm getting 200 watts ...when the haze passes I'm at 330 watts. This is March 2 in eastern Canada. It will power our freezer for a couple days without needing a recharge. I'm extremely happy with it now that I got it working.

OMG, the EXACT same thing happens to my Delta Pros! I have several units and all of them have had the issue with AC turnimg off for no reason. Like you, it's my sole system and off-grid, so everything shuts off for me. Numerous contacts with customer service have not resolved the issue. Looks to be firmware related because jt started after a certain FW version, but has never been fixed even after multiple FE updates to newer versions.

Best set up is buying only the ecoflow 400W rigid solar panels x2 with A Delta 2 (lithium ionphosphate :3000 cylcles until 80%)and smart invert = 800w only per microcinverter...then you have to use less electric gadgets, use a gas geyser,stove, fireplace. You cannot go fully offgrid with the ecoflow umfortunately, it is only for semi offgrid and saving on electricity when Grid Tied. Sorry for you delta pro sorrows😢.Godbless

So the issue was that it couldn't be started remotely, and I'm guessing that's because there was no wifi? If you go into the settings and lab, you will see AC always on, so if it turns off, it will turn itself back on.

I'm 69. At 19-20 years old I operated a Timberjack and a Case skidder for my father-in-law. We used a 100' main line w/3, 10' chokers. Most dangerous job ever, for me. Numerous close calls, but I loved that job more than any other job I ever worked. I preferred the Timberjack over the Case, as the Case seemed a bit top heavy, although the Case definitely had more hp's. 😉
