I walked my dog in the area of that Ormond Beach Plant from around 2010 to recently. I never saw or smelled or witness dirty air. The claims about asthma, etc. are bogus. What there is about it is its Borg Cube look--ugly. The wind mills that you would maybe put in their place are uglier and noisier... Excuse me, the Bird Lubbers of Audubon wouldn't allow that would they? Because that kind of renewable energy apparatus is infamous for killing birds. So what is the alternative? You need to replace it with something viable, reliable and controllable by our community.
